I don't think anybody has posted beating David yet. I checked all the fields and there are many slower fields in the event; trying to get David to come out seems to be a hit or miss situation this time.
When I first booted up the event I had Gross as the lead Rabbit, but when I quit and retried (same car) I got David, and a lot of other familiar and fast AI drivers.
I guess this gives a chance for all skill levels, and is good practise and interesting fields for the truly expert.

Used my Mazda 787B passed the Viper on lap 3, did have a 5.2 second lead but got greedy and ran wide on the last lap and hit the grass at Würth Turn, so the viper closed up but was a fun race. started off slow just to settle in to the car and slowly upped the pace.

Funny...I just tried the F1 GTR!

I think that I might try the Short Tail GTR first, seeing as I was 3 seconds behind the GTR LM Concept in the Viper GTS-R. There just isnt enough turns to use a GT3 car or older GT1 car.

Copied the original settings A to B and changed gearbox to bypass the 1.17 bug.
My apologies if my question seems a bit off topic... dddsprayshop's solution implies to me that the glitch only affects the set up used for the actual race without changing the other setups one keeps for the same car. (I had the impression the glitch reset all three set-ups back to default.) Is that true? So a quick workaround is just to copy the set-up back to the file you plan to race with?

Since when is this track in the game? I haven't seen it before. It used to be the GP of Austria, right? I remember it from the old F1 games, which means it's been a while since I drove this track.
Also didn't know you could change the game's language to Dutch.

Yes it is the GP of Austria, I believe since 2014 it's back on the F1 calender, this year again as well.

If you go to arcade > single player > ... you can see all the tracks in the game. Red Bull Ring was indeed added via an update. Mid-Field Raceway as well if you missed it. ;)

I had a tune in A-settings with a final gear changed.
So yes, i copied to B setting
I raced with A-setting, and when i finished the race, i checked B, and the settings did not reset in B.
You just made me doubt myself, so i checked it again a minute ago.
A-setting: the gearbox i created and still there.
B-setting: the original @shaunm80 setting for the TS030 at 615pp no gearbox reset
C-setting: the new @shaunm80 1.17 gearbox setting for the TS030 (click to go to the new gearbox setting)
I only raced the track today with setting A and C.

The original tune for the TS030
Just copy all settings except the gearbox, use powerlimit to 88.5% or 600pp
and then set the new 1.17 gearbox setting.
It's very fast and very nice on the redbull track.
\edit.. who i'm kidding, this car is awesome, saved my butt a lot of times in a lot of event.
it was great on the first endurance online event, and does wonders for me on the Nordschleife.

YIPPIE! Green flags again! THANK YOU FOR THE DOUBLE CHECK. I been avoiding bringing any tuned car to any races for fear of losing all the work of inputing y'alls recommended tunes again, let alone searching for and finding them. It's been fun driving strictly stock, but I been missing the improvements the tunes provide. Red Bull Ring... here we come!

Easy win with that blue Alpine VGT racing car. Something went horribly wrong with the AI though, as I managed to gain like 10 seconds in one lap and ultimately won by nearly 20 seconds.

Something fishy going on with the AI and their acceleration. Look at what the C5 Vette did to me in the Ford GT coming out of the corner. He blew me away like I was standing still, yet I won the race and he ended up 20 seconds back!

It's a slam and pit maneuver chase around redbull "square".....meh easy win in the ts03, zonda lm, furai and the BMW Mclaren f1 but it's been a good challenge in everything else I've used.

Flat out in the TS03 headed to turn 2, the sharp hair pin, and the LM nissan chases me down and passes me with what would seem like a sudden 100+pp advantage over the Toyota then gives up the lead just as easy by the next turn :odd:

Missing those mixed weather race seasonals we had a little while back big time.

Ran a 7:18.599 in my Toyota TS030 for Gold. +18.817s ahead of the 2nd place McLaren F1 GTR - BMW. This will be a fun race to try different cars. 👍

I haven't encountered the TS030 either.

If I had, I would wish I was in another TS030 or 2J.

Otherwise, this is a very easy race. I've had some fun in my 20-million dollar 330 P4.

A 13 mph drop while accelerator is floored from lap time 34.956 to 35.040? LMAO! The AI C5 Vette roars up to me at 152 mph, and then magically drops 13 mph down to 139 mph in 0.084 as he passes me while the accelerator is floored! Damn cheating AI cars!:mad::rolleyes::confused:

The fact that the figures don't match the meter-graphs, or vice versa, is one thing.

That's also huge drop in thousandths of a sec. Good brakes? :sly:

I finally got it done with the F1 GTR short tail. Hopefully, PD has a fix soon for the Trans bug. I'm not using my trusty Z4 GT3 until it's fixed.
