A-spec Intermediate Level Kart Race 100: Kart Space I

I used this guide to set my G27 to 450°.

The 100SPL cart i used makes GT6 crash when i do an engine rebuild to it.
(Screen goes all black but music keeps playing. Crash happened the same when i tried it again.)

But i got it easy without the rebuild anyway.

Fun little race with little replay value, but nice to see a kart race. I remember taking forever to get a handle on the A-Spec kart races but seems to be like riding a bike, this just took me about 3 attempts to remember the layout and not hit the sides, which pretty much sums up all you need to do.

Turning off TCS will let you turn a little tighter, the only tricky spots being the 180 degree hairpin, where I approach on the right of the track then full lock to clear it (you can hop the curb too) and the big right-hander that narrows some. Just stay the heck away from the sides, as it takes forever to build up speed again.

Automatically went to see if B-spec Bob could do it. Damn... 1st try, but I still hate these. Least it wasn't the Gt ring one, I don't mind Kart Space as much.

Karts feel like trying to race a Red Bull on Autumn ring to me.

First go, crashed twice and finished last.

Second go, won by a second.

Third go, well - nah, Kart goes back to the stockyard.

took me 3 tries then I tucked the kart back into the stockyard where it belongs

I had such trouble with carts in career mode I nearly skipped this.

1st try: Last and lapped by two karts.
2nd try: with SRF and final gear set for less top speed - First place by the skin of my teeth, though still spun out twice.
3rd try: No SRF this time - First place with a nice gap, the kart behaved better with no SRF and was more predictable (no spin outs at all).

Had a few more goes just to confirm I could now drive GT6 Karts.... I can! woooooooop!!!!!!! Now to go back to those pesky career races!

Career mode races done! All gold too - triple wooops!

Ggrrrrrrr......I also hate carts. Best so far is 4th. Just played with the gear box a bit but still can't catch the first 3.

I always suck at Kart races. I didn't get gold on this one until after I decided not to race hard, and then I got it on the second attempt. Karts seem to be very unforgiving if you go fast and off the driving line even a bit. I used TC=1 and SRF ON. I didn't change brakes or gear box.
