A-spec Intermediate Level Non-Race Car Challenge: Nürburgring GP/F

Think we had a similar lineup, I ran the BRZ at 466pp I believe might have been 467. Anyways that McLaren becomes a monster once you pass it. Took about three races to figure out how to beat it with quite a few rams from it throwing me off track. Definitely a nail biter but final beat it.

I've had a few almost wins in a stock Honda NSX Type R '02 @ 468pp on SH tyres [easier to win on SS], I kept getting spun out at the last turn by the crazy ramming of the McLaren F1 '94 each time. It frustrated me to have it happen 3-4 times in a row so I never bothered to go for it again, I just moved on to other cars.

Very nice drive the BRZ at 466pp . I found that once I pass lead car, around 3rd lap , I just do my race. No blocking, let them pass or just nudge them off the road. No matter what blocking you do, they will catch up anyhow. All comes down to the last chicane anyhow. I prefer to let the car pass braking and then cut in, or block him as he turns left. Besides the fact they seem to be crashing at every hairpin if you let them go.

Lotus 111R '04 450 pp. I have a feeling that no matter how slow your car is, the AI's can go slower . Really nice drive with a few changes from stock. A bit ridiculous, won at 430 pp. Seems as long as your car is fast enough to reach the 11th place car....you have a chance. At 410 PP ...done

@nowcontrol , wow the NSX SH 468 pp is slower then the Lotus at 410pp. Anyway passed Pagani 4th lap, he crashed into wall last chicane. Passed and then it was a race. Stayed ahead till last chicane, let him pass and put him between me and the wall.

Like this race. Used a stock M4 coupe and upgraded the tires to SS. Got to first on lap 3 after dirty racing. Then the 458 went on boost n punted me into sand. Took him back then mclaren f1 pushed me out on a turn. Took him back n speed 12 overtook us. Edge of the seat stuff with them totally overspeeding me on straight n loses a little each corner. Last 2 laps was the closest fight i everhad with AI. I lost but its good fun.

I run bone stock McLaren MP4-12C. Silver in 1st attempt (lap time 2:16-2:18) and gold in 2nd attempt (lap time 2:12-2:18). I made couple mistakes overdriving in some corners in both attempt and hence the 2:18 time.

In my 1st attempt, I took the lead around 4th lap but the rabbit zroom passing me at the end so quickly at final lap.

In my 2nd attempt, I took the lead early on the 3rd lap and.... damnnnnnnn 4 cars suddenly ran so fast and tailgate me all the way. All 4 cars attempted to rear end me. I knew it so I get off from my regular line and guess what, they don't brake. Instead, all 4 of them ran into the sand. I got away with +3 seconds or so and they catch up immediately. They continue trying that around the chicane and all bang into the wall. I got away with +2 seconds and then they catch up immediately and attempted again, they ran off track 3rd time. Same thing, again, again and again. I got rear ended couple times but I was hard on my brake on straight so I avoided running out of the track. They did all this in the last 2 laps. The AIs are INSANE seriously, they are worse than online players in term of aggression. Fun fun fun lol.

I used my BRZ but definitely not as low PP as nowayback has managed. Funny story though: somehow when I changed up to sport softs only the front tires changed and the backs stayed as sport hard from the beginner event. I just couldn't figure out why the damn back end kept coming out from me until my 3rd attempt when I looked at the tire indicators.

i love intermediates... nice challenge, cars are fast enough but not stupid fast

this is another great series, great track, fast (180mph straight) and a good mix of cars

some cars i find to be ungodly quick in a straight line (ie, McLaren F1. Speed 12, Huayra) so much so you line them up out of a corner and they waste you and you're in a 700hp Gallardo!

this track has heaps of overtaking opportunities but again, the AI seems to play in the sand too much and hit the big foam barriers

Great AI. Drives like a maniac once caught. The AI seems to be driving at their limits once they are overtaken. Unitially you were overtaking them as if they are cruising then they push you to the limit causing both real driver and AI to make mistakes.

Using my F430 Scuderia which was originally setup by @GTP_CargoRatt https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/tunes/ferrari-430-scuderia-07.499/ But I added an extra 100hp.. still very fun to drive, just need to be gentle on the loud pedal

Had the usual 2nd last lap flyby and crash into the chicane by the Huayra,
I expected it again on the last lap, but no, he was very cunning, waited till i was halfway through the chicane and gave just enough of a bump on the rear quarter to push me wide and slip past. but i managed to keep close enough to drive into his door on the very last corner and push him off the road for the win..!

Yeah it's a much faster car with less power, was more interested to see how the suspension tuning stacked up with the extra power, and I was suprised at how controllable it was. Still only using SM tyres that the tune was setup for.
the thing just wheel-spins everywhere. Fun, but not fast
