Well, went back to the stock BTR '86 after @coryclifford suggestion to give it another go.After 250+ miles, the best I managed was a 2nd,1.7s behind the wabbit.Gonna try and nail gold later today...
Strangely my time for silver in the BTR was faster than my gold time in the Yellowbird-a far more powerful car-what a wonderfully realistic game

Money adds up quickly at this seasonal. I have run it in many cars and was surprised the gt40 was the fastest car I ran here, until I hopped in the rx500. My xbow street, gt40 and rx500 are all pretty decent here, running 1:13 laps.

700,000 in 6 minutes or so is good money.

Agreed, this Seasonal is definitely a cash cow, even if you finish in the top 4-5. I was determined to win with the BTR and probably made around 4 mil credits for around an hour worth of play finishing 2nd, 3rd and 4th a number of times. I think the high payouts are a result of the Expert Seasonal being more difficult than usual.

Well, I can say a McClaren MP4 tears it up easily. Not even a challenge. Trying my El Camino next! Should be beatable with that as well.

Did this one with the Focus St '13 upgraded to the limit and would have been an easy win..except I have it set up with a weird suspension set-up (from running a TT at Brands GP circuit) with massive snap oversteer at almost every corner as well as huge wheel spinning....came second by a couple of seconds first try, then won the second attempt by over 10 seconds

Also ran it with a de-powered ZZ-00 (whichever is the higher-powered of the 2 Tommy Kaira cars) and it was just way too easy..won by 20+ seconds I think. Gonna keep trying more cars as this is good fun

Cheers.

100% stock BTR I have is at 493 PP and on SH tire.

CTR Yellow Bird is 526 on SH.

CTR2 is 537 PP SH tire. And by far the easiest of the three.

Ferrari GTO at 520 is good.

Ferrari F40 is 528 and pretty fun too.

Nissan R390 at 519 is kinda easy.

Shelby Series One was surprisingly easy at 486.

Mitsubishi Evo VIII RS was easy at 478.

Mitsu Evo VI RS T.M. at 472, done.

Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A at 466 is fantastic.

All on their stock SH tires.

:D:tup:

Used my 83 Skyline passed for 1st at the start of lap 3 and finished with a 4 second gap with a 1:20.8 lap.
513pp only ABS.
Such fun cars the 80s Skylines.

I was kind of wondering why there weren't any RX-7 cars in any of the fields. I'm pretty sure it's because they're fantastic cars! Wow. Take a stock Spirit R - 466 PP on SH tires and try.

Just won in a stock 457 PP '00 RX-7 RS on SH tires against the CTR2. :D:tup:

Pretty surprised by the 2002 rx7 spirit r, so far it's the fastest car I have ran at this seasonal. I'm fairly confident this car can run 1:12 or better lap with me driving it.

I see a lot of light cars in this topic, but has anybody tried it with heavy cars like Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Aston Martin? I did, but it's way harder than light cars with similar PP. Haven't won it yet with these cars.

Tried the Jag XKR-S and the Aston V8 Vantage stock with SH tires. Too heavy and lumbering for my tastes on this track and best finish was 3rd or 4th with Jag. This one is all about the RUF.

I've had pretty good times with heavier cars, for the most part lap times have been pretty similar. A few of my lighter cars have run low 1:13 laps, and a few heavier cars have run mid to high 1:13 laps so the times aren't far of for me. I think one of my Mercedes ran a 1:13.6. Every car I use is fully modified, but most cars have been pretty close in lap times. I run sport soft tires on everything.

The only heavy car I tried that felt pretty slow here was the bugatti.

I found the jag xkrs 11 to be one of the funner cars to run around in. That's fully tuned with SS tired though. Not the fastest but fun. I've been trying old muscle cars like the el Camino etc. makes for a lot tighter race

Won this with Cadillac CTS-V replica OEM setup , close to 2000kg, about 500+HP, SM tire, got 1st in lap 3 I think, probably can win on SH tire too.

The maclaren mp4, audi r8's, dodge viper, and newer corvettes are all fairly heavy cars that fly around this track.

The cars like the Nissan r390 road are a joke because they are Le Mans spec cars are so overpowered and fast cornering it isnt much of challenge.

If you can do them in relatively low powered cars you're onto something. I'm on an FWD binge so tried the Civics, EK9, the Scirocco and SRT4. These will all do it quite easily as long as you maintain speed and dont make mistakes.

I did it that Mazda 6 Atenza (premium) whatever which is a bit incongruous when you're overtaking the F40 and GTO and the RUFs and the multiple R35 Nissans...

I'm addicted to this one using the F40. I've bought so many cars I feel like I'm on the old version of wheel of fortune. The one where you had to spend you money on prizes until you ran out and took what's left in an American Express Travelers check. I'll be sad to see this one go.

Just try it with my old civic. Got to turbonised it to compete. No aids at all. Wow, very exciting. Clean race 450pp, Sport hard tires. Those Civic EG lover should love to try it, not very hard but excited. :gtpflag:

Suffered my first loss in this Seasonal just now. I was trying to hold off the leading Ruf CTR2 until it simply overpowered my KTM X-Bow Street on the backstretch of Deep Forest. I tried to block, and I got spun out in the first tunnel on the backstretch. I could unfortunately do nothing to pass that Ruf for the win. I was undefeated with the previous Intermediate Level Challenge around Circuito de Madrid. Can't win 'em all...

My xbow is pretty fast with ballast added, the versions of the xbow won this race easily for me, and I think I have a fair amount of ballast in both.

I've won this one before with my X-Bow Street; I've just had a bad race. It happens.
