This is like the Lotus-Renault and Lotus F1 team confusion.
A1GP fans have been put through the 'ringer' over the last 3 years - will it come back - yes it will -- ohh no it won't -- yesss it is -- or is it?
My attitude, and the reason why I have kept my website going, is I love A1GP and will wait until they bury the remnants of the cars and engines, etc., before giving up hope.
All I can say is I have been in discussion with the people behind A1worldcup about what the new series should include and how the A1fans should be involved.
What I can't say is what type of funding they have or if it is rock solid -- which we know is the biggest problem these days for ANY business.

It's been in the works for a while, and the whole thing looks like a major flop. Won't live past 3 seasons.http://acceleration14.com/#
So it appears a series has started as a using the nations concept, but aimed at younger audiences I reckon with the inclusion of music festivals at the track. Interestingly, according to technical specifications the cars being used are the original Lola Zyteks... I thought those chassis had gone to Auto GP?
