That place is awesome and incredibly sad at the same time. The 57 Hudson omfg.

I saw that Twin H power photo, and my stomach turned a little. I scrolled further down and saw that it wasn't a first generation. I feel a bit relieved but it is still wrong that it's there.

I can't find any of info on it. Other then the the place beening called PROAUTOand it is located in Gifu, Japan. The website were I found the pics is in Japanese and there was no info about the place.

I started looking into this today and found my first glimmer of hope that I'm on the right path. Look through these pictures, looks familiar no? The hunt continues :sly:

A Z28 which is (was) part of a parts yard of supposedly rare American cars next door to my father's factory:

This thread is so depressing. So many amazing cars just turned to **** in barns. I'm surprised at the sheer number of them all around too. Hopefully the good ones at least get restored.

From Reddit:
This '67 Ford Anglia was the first car my dad bought when he got his first job as a carpenter. He was already seeing my mom (what a douche, right?) but lived with his parents, some 10 ml / 15 km from the nearest town.

The radiator kept leaking so he topped it with water. Not the best idea if the nights are around -5 F / -20 degrees Celsius. The block could've probably taken it, but one day when the car wouldn't start, dad and his brother tow-started it with a tractor. Icy water filled the cooling channels and the block cracked. Anglia had some other weaknesses, too, so he just left the bugger where it still is: in the woods behind his house of birth, in a very sparsely populated area in eastern Finland. Absolutely nothing there that'd vandalize the old car but the nature.
