SHIRAKAWA Akira
(the mazda) I don't know if an engine that sounds so loud and raw can be considered stock!
(the GT-R) Nice sound and nice new turbo whistle (very light but also very realistic!)

What about other cars?
I'll try to get the other cars up in a few hours. A little busy right now :P

For people who can record audio:

Can you do an extensive recording? For example: revving many times in neutral (like the skyline audio clip), do a fast 1-2 gear shifting at redline, cruising at higher gears and low speed, then full throttle (for low rpms sounds)? And if you have time, record this for both internal and external view!

I know maybe I'm asking too much! :) :dopey: 👍

A gameplay question: does the Reverse button gear shifting trick work with this demo? Does it shift gears faster or slower than the correct shift up button method?

Here's a capture of just the audio for those who want to hear the sounds. There seems to be a bit too much static in the capture :( But you still get a sense of what it sounds like in-game.

R34 Nur Edition

Holy crap on a stick... I guess they got the engine thing figured out after all.... That sounds absofrikkinawesome.

Ooo, I can't wait now.. hehe. *kicks his PC with no DVD-burner and his unmodded PS2*

Never heared of it but if you dont like the trick dont use it. I and my buddies when we drive we make it a religion to not do tricks like those and not to cut through the grass

There's a cheap trick to use for shifting :( You can find it in the prologue section of the forum. When you use the reverse-button to shift at redline, there's no delay or loss of speed when you upshift compared to when using the normal shift button (i.e. R2). It has constant acceleration...... :(

That worked well with low powered cars only, with fast cars it wasn't worth the effort since the overall acceleration improvement was negligible and you had to press the reverse button very fast at redline (or it wouldn't work) = bad for cars with peak power at lower rpms, if you didn't want to lose much speed due to the transmission trying to engage the reverse gear.

wow this is the fastest download via bittorrent, i should have it by morning - it says only 5 hours left :)

and those engine sounds... just as ear-friendly as those in GTR - yeah baby, this game is 10 gigas, didn't expect anything less :sly:

i hope i can manage to make my Winfast TV2000 to capture NTSC though... would be shame if i couldn't get screens...

Thanks for the link! Sounds like it works on ntsc tv's in america. I'm still buying the real game to support the sadomasochists that is Polyphony Digital.

Is ther someone with this demo and an Epson printer? (can you print)
I try to print the photomode picture but it said, "no printer connected"...
I guess HP printers don't work :( only Epson printers. I hope the full version supports hp, canon etc.. too :)

the demo is great tho.. btw is there a time limit crack allready?

anyone tried to extract gt4.vol yet?
maybe you can copy other tracks over nurburgring or paris or trial mountain
then you can play ice arena, Hong Kong and Capri with new physics
since someone mention replay shows these tracks
so definitely the file is there
if you have done prologue rip kit before
you can put these new track back to prologue for fun
I am little late ... hope my dl finish soon

Only 296 hours to go. So by the time GT4 is released, I'll have the demo! I do appreciate the torrent. Is anyone getting better speeds than 1 k/b?

I can record videos but I just need a host for the files :P, and I'm having trouble getting screen caps. I click the capture button but it doesn't do anything :( I'll see if I can fix it sometime soon..
