I expect other top 200 tournaments for pixy, strigon, cyper, and other previous Aces from the series...🤬
I'm only using the typhoon since the last 200+ sorties so it's not a big thing having those aircafts but, come on!
Classic Ace Combat stuff should be for "everyone", getting top 1000 for the Galm emblem was not a walk in the park...

the -pirates- and the -shogun-aircrafts are rare as hell, never seen one during a match...

Seeing that list just makes me disappointed all over again thinking about how I came just short of the Galm emblem by a single sortie.

Still working on getting my T-50 skin.
I want any of those X-02s.
I will aim for the ADF-01 but I prolly will still use my ADFX more often.
I am interested in that F-15C Scorpio (because November).
I want both Cipher and Pixy F-15Cs but I won't try too hard for them (no emblem).

Disappointed that the YF-23 didn't make that list, yet. I say yet because I also didn't see Mobius F-22. So here's to hoping.

In other news, I just did my first Stonehenge Return special raid mission, which actually ended up being Stonehenge II. I died because I forgot about the shock waves but I got back into the groove. We S'd it. I used the Morgan and I must say the ECMs show their true handiness at the mission.

Also for the first time, I managed to end up with a teammate who had the same plane, same emblem, same nickname and same camouflage as me.

Rot 1 to Rot 2...Down 'em all.

And we actually won too.

I don't think I ever cracked the top 20k in this tournament. I wasn't exactly doing sorties every day, but still fairly frequently. I have been stocking my fuels though, I have 31 now I think.

Anyone been keeping an eye on the top 200 scores for the tournament? Rank 200 is at approx. 180,000 points now. It was around 85,000 - IIRC - 24 hours prior. With a bit of guesstimating you'll need at least 250,000 points by the end of this tournament to get that Ridgeback Shinden...

This of course doesn't bode well for future co-op tournaments because based on those numbers you will need to sortie using at least 333 fuel to make the prize plane cut (250,000 ranking pts ÷ 750 ranking pts per sortie fuel [this is an estimate of MVPing every sortie without seal-clubbing]).

In other words that special Shinden is possibly a $300 virtual plane at the rate things are going. I don't want to imagine what the other canon planes will be worth when their inevitable tournaments finally come around.

It's not like buying a valuable item, when Infinity will close the servers, you'll lose it...
I'm saving as much fuel as I can, since I don't like the RB emblem, 33 right now, had to skip a lot of Stonehenge I missions...

I got a nice quantity of dropped stocked fuel recently, so not for me.
Payouts and research are dropped a bit, expecially the last one.

Damn I sure hope it is. The T-50 almost looks like a completely different plane with that winter camouflage. Add a blue star to it and it essentially becomes the spetsnaz of the skies.

Oh and F-15 Pixy plane drop + ESM / ECM challenges makes me speculate that a F-15 only tournament for Cipher's plane might be on the cards (the EA-18G Growler has both ESM + ECM and that plane is a nice shortcut to the F-15S/MTD).

Speaking of those challenges, wow. It's nice to sortie with a level 1 Su-24MP in Tokyo with 3 relative beginners and be given a serious run for my money! Gives the game a nice change of pace from the tournament that's just finished without worrying about S-ranking or MVP-ing.

I weened myself of Ace Combat lately and got back into GTA: O. Kinda got bored of playing the same CO-OP maps over and over, and having to duke it out with tryhards from Japan in their F-35 4AGM spam wagons or SMTD LAGM spam buses.

But I'll pass playing with both, at least for a while, because I got Su 35 level 7, T 50 level 3 with a free upgrade 5 to 6 level so I'm playing with Su 35 and steady upgrading T 50.
It would be nice to have a different skin for Su 35.

Lol what type of rooms do you join? I usually look for the "Aiming for Special Raid Missions" ones and the ones I find usually have lobbies full of players with matching rates of 1800 +/- 100.

I average ~45k points in the 8 player rooms with my stealth fighters and this goes up to about ~55k in the 6 player ones.

Should probably look into getting a high end multi-role for my F-22 account but not until after that hits Level 10.

Mostly I play 4 or 6 players rooms, with 4 players is the best, tons of targets and points, 6 sorties per day and saving
stocked fuel for rainy days. Of course, sometimes I buy Elite Merc. for 1 euro but not often.
And I play with same level players of course. My level is around 1690 for now.
80000 is absolute record for me and it was in Weapons base assault.

Just did one of those Emergency Air-Strike missions. Feels good to have a level 9 F-22 with level 5 4AAMs .

EDIT: Pro-Tip - equip the fire extinguisher part on your plane if you have it unlocked during this mission because you will undoubtedly get hit by missiles thanks to the sheer number of enemy planes firing them at you. If you don't have it yet try equipping some armor and some health points baby-sitting until you unlock the extinguisher to replenish health during co-op!

I got an air to ground one but that was after my last unit of supplied fuel plus...well...the only good multirole/attacker is the MTD stripes and it's level 3 so no FAEB yet...

I don't remember getting one (then again I'm pretty trigger happy in this game ). I will get destroyed with the A2G and A2S ones in my F-22 account since my best multi-role/attacker there is a L5 Mirage.

Don't worry, destroying those ground and naval targets are much easier than destroying enemy planes. (Unless it's an MiG-29, which is very easy to shoot down.)

This tournament points padding is getting stupid. Joined a 6 man "aiming for special raids" room for first sortie of the day; S-rank/MVP Aerospace defense with 19 seconds on the clock; get emergency air strike mission; kicked because host got butt-hurt by not MVPing with his map specific plane.

Good luck to that room and it's members, I doubt they would've S-ranked that air strike mission without a fighter that can clear out the first two stages of that air strike fast enough so that they have enough time to empty the map of high health F-22s and T-50s at the end.

Nope, and it's strange for me since I usually got SP aicraft drops during the very first few sorties!
I saw it once, while Pixy's Morgan is way too much mainstream, probably due to the MPBM/Lazor.
Waiting to get some more money and finally equip my Stripes with FAEBs, I really need something good with bombs on it, my Rafale VA is still lvl 1.
