I've been drifting for a while and then GT3 started getting boring
SO......I started trying HUGE feints,extra long drifts,
one-hand off the controller like for 1/2 sec.I was wondering what
do you guys do to step it up a bit.I am not bored any more...

No countersteer drifts, spinout-to-drifts, slide-ins, the ever classic feint (single, double, etc) and a different type of drift I'm attempting to master I call the reverse slide-in feint swing.

i just try to get the car as angled as i can. when you do Midfield II in free run, the first turn is fun. if i mess up i just restart. if i'm really really bored, then i try the turns in complex ... it takes like 6-8 mins to complete a lap on that track.

:cool: :cool: :cool:

were talking individuality here!

as long as it looks fast, within the boundries, barelt scraping the rail, while passing the skyline, on a downhll turn, recovering in the most ideal acceleration lane, and speed off at what can be described as 'faint' into the next corner......gtg...time to drift!

I'm all about the realistic drift. I pretend that I'm actually driving the car and try to avoid going off the road if I lose control. Oddly enough, so far I haven't gotten bored with just perfecting the drift, so I haven't bothered to "take it to the next level." I'm happy just trying to improve my skill.

Lately I've been trying to do really really long, controlled , sidebrake drifts down some of the long straights before a sharp turn...like the downhill straight before the tight hairpin in Apricot Hill.

I try to get as much angle as i can with my cars, I like to string corners together, sometimes tailslides on straits, and the usual feint drifts started from tailslides, zero counter drifts, Civic "drifting," and I always start my drift before the corner.

i think drifting with a wheel is much easier,because you more control but in analog you can do it too but it need more practise,the first wheel that i bought was for PS1 and i used it 3 days and then just put it there ,and i regret buying this wheel but when i bought the logitech wheel ,i was afraid i wouldnt like it but it was one of the best things i bought for ps2,so i recommand buying a wheel 👍

depends on what you're talking about..if you're talking about drifting back and forth down a straight then ya that's ChokuDori, but if you mean using the ebrake to slide down a straight before a turn, then thats a Sidebrake/ebrake drift. Choku Dori's are fun, I love trying to get really close to the sides of the road, and seeing how long I can hold one in one direction before having to turn and drift the other way. (if that makes any sense)

NEW STUFF (i'm trying now):::
close-2-wall
close-2-grass
long combinations
one-hand(D1 baby!!)
OLD STUFF(LEARNED ALREADY):::
MONSTER FEINT
nice angle
high-speed

Complete Laps without Traction even if its just feint side to side as long as at no time the wheels arnt squeling there heads off . Super speedway as 1 continuous drift is a reality!
