Airbus A321 Crashes in Sinai

Yup. FSB has reported it to the president and Putin promised to find the culprits. FSB offers $50 million for info about them.

It seems that the Dutch sites have removed the article. Maybe they were a bit premature.
Probably why I can't find it then, at least not in the usual places. False alarm I guess.

The Egyptian investigation hasn't found a single trace or clue for a bomb on the plane. So Egypt says no bomb, Russia claims there was a bomb.

Egypt trying to save their economy. Russia seeking for some sort of justification?

So what does Egypt claim brought it down? Should have a reason other than it's not that.

It's easier to rule out foul play than finding the actual problem, seeing that there were bits of planes everywhere.

It wasn't a plane, it was plane colored confetti. The people are still in Egypt on a lifetime vacation.

How did I miss this plane crash?

Is this the Russian airliner that was shot down/blew up that I heard about recently? I don't remember anything about it being over Egypt.

Yup. Departed Egypt, and myths are a guy slung a bomb inside the aft cargo bay while at the gate.

Where was this disproven? I don't see the Egyptian authorities doing anything recent with the investigation.

Maybe you're not on their mailing list for some reason? The investigation continues whether or not Fox say it does. If they've found no traces of explosives then that suggests that indeed they have been doing something. Like looking for traces of explosives, for example.

No need to insult where I get my news. Like @Keef, I haven't been following the investigation too closely either.

The Russian newspaper Kommersant claims that a team of international investigators state that it was a bomb in the cargobay that brought this plane down.

Dutch source.
