Wait...you can play GT2 on your computer?

You can. Sucahyo was famous for doing GT2 on his comp....wherever he is :(. You need an emulator or eXpse or something to make it work; but it is certainly possible.

The downside is (so far as I know) you can't use the dual-shock controller on a comp. This means you'll need to use keyboard buttons to steer and brake, etc. Correct me, Zukiru, if I'm wrong..I'm just remembering how Sucahyo described it to me years ago. Wherever he is :(

It's called ePSXe, short for Enhanced PSX Emulator. It lets you play GT2 (or any other PS1 game for that matter) on your computer just like any other PC game. You can use your Dual Shock to play, but you either need to buy a connector to connect your ol' PS1 controller to the computer or buy a directly USB compatible controller. I prefer to buy the connector, because most of the USB compatible controllers are made by thrid parties and their quality is crap to say the least. Suchayo should know more about this, he helped me a lot on configuring and finding the right drivers when I wanted to set up ePSXe myself.

I can't remember the exact place I downloaded mine, but a simple search using Google will brought up many good sites.

google search

epsxe

it comes up as official site.

you will also need the Bios which is the psx running system.

but forum rules won't let me tell you where to get it.

it's illegal to own a copy of this and not a PSX.

expect a PM where I can help you with plug ins needed.

Man, Id love to know how to hybrid. I had some mad ideas, like, take the Shelby GT500 and give it a Skyline engine, like in Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Or Toyota GT-One (best sounding engine in the game) into an Audi TT! Would get you to the hairdressers quicker :P
Anyway, are we still on Deep Forest? If so Ill have another run, my first time is looking fairly pathetic now.
