I'm terrible at understanding how to use the datalogger to help me get better at racing. All it is to me is "pretty tech." What helps me more is actually getting out there and...racing...

Sorry, I've mis-understood then, I thought this was about the relative merits of each MX5 variant, rather than being good at racing.
Are you interested in trying the GT350 vs GT350R?
Dude, are those supposed to be sentances?
If I do understand this gibberish it sounds like you are impressed that dupes drive like dupes.
That or you did not consider what Famine pointed out before you posted.
Your time spread is 1.8% - more than you see in F1 qualifying, but only 0.5% if you exclude the 1.6 NAs - less than you see in F1 qualifying
Excellent. Thank you again. Do you think if it wasn't for the limited top speed of the 350R, it would've been faster than the regular 350? I figured the racing model would've had a big advantage in handling over the street model, but it was a lot closer than expected.Got them done this morning.
2:26.716 - Shelby GT350 [P]
2:26.891 - Shelby GT350R
GT350
4.3L
304 hp / 6,000 rpm
329 ft-lb / 4,000 rpm
1,270 kg
454 pp
GT350R
4.7L
305 hp / 6,000 rpm
329 ft-lb / 4,000 rpm
1,268 kg
455 pp
The GT350 has a higher top speed, 136 mph versus 130 mph. The "R" engine has an extra 400 cc's which helped make up for time lost on the two long straights.
I feel like I might've mentioned it.No, sentences.
Did you not consider that I posted in this thread before Famine pointed?
