This thread was created with the permission of daan on the condition that we stay ON TOPIC.
I told you so.
Now that that's out of the way, we'll use this thread to discuss class combos, testing, and homologation.
I think that we've decided on LMP, GT, and GTC.
But I still have not completely ruled out LMP, GT1, and GT2.
Having GT1 would allow to have some race cars in the GT classes (M3 GTR, C5-R, Ford GT LM Spec II, and perhaps the Panoz and XJ220 LM Race Car), and still have the entire current ALMS grid in GT2 (Vette, Bimmer, Porsche sort of, Jag, Ford GT, and 458).
Having two GT classes would also mean we'd slow down GT2 so the BMW and Jaguar are competitive. Weight limit will be bumped up to at least 1300 KG in GT(2) regardless.
This will mean a GTC class will be exceptionally slow.
I'll continue to test in LMP.
I will host a room on Friday at the usual time where we can have races and judge which cars need extra HP and which ones need less.
Again, please stay ON TOPIC.
