Lol, I'm not fussed because I'm not really GT1. I'm just wondering why gatrs is being a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to how he wants the series to be going off what he's said in the past...

Well I am a purist for the series. Seems silly specifically calling it ALMS if it doesn't properly replicate the series as it is in real life (or as much as possible, obviously some LMPs must be substituted for others and GT cars are road versions creating steering/power issues). But again I don't care enough to argue lol. I'll do whatever works for everyone else.

EDIT: also mitch why haven't you signed up for the rally series?👎

Australia lost what?

I'm rubbish at rallying, thus I'm not going to plague the series with my uselessness on dirt.

But I still need competition :P

I said if EVERYONE wants to go that route, I'll support it.
So if we're decided on LMP, GT, and GTC, I think that I'll test out Mitch's specs next time I'm online.
I'm not going to be able to do that until Sunday though.

For GTC with the Ruf RGT I'd go with stock weight and limit hp to 400 (allows the addition of a race exhaust and some minor mods/run in) which actually makes it half decent as a race car once fully modded suspension and drivetrain wise.

Yeah I'm not sure what he means about that.....only thing I can think of is the Ruf RGT idea for GTC, other than that I'm stumped.

If you do go with GTC and use Rufs you can either use the:

RGT - 387 HP - 1330 kg
or
CTR2 - 535 HP - 1380 kg

The RGT would be the better choice as the CTR2 has AWD and more power...they both weigh more than the S3 GT2 spec cars will at minimum so they'll definitely be slower.

Mitch's Specs.

mygranturismos specs....

Wow. Fail on my part.
What if we do the RGT and match it to the specs of the 996 GT3 Cup Car IRL?
Oh no, that would be too light. Hmmmm.

School started tuesday, I haven't been around really.
Im probably going to stay in the Vette unless GT1 wins.

Will these still be on Fridays?
Gotta get up at 6AM so I'm really tired by the end of the day. No Concentration Racin should be my team name

Still Fridays.
And sane for me.

Gatrs is premium and the leader so his vote counts for 3 :sly:
Anyways I bought my 3rd CLK-LM
500 hp is nice, what's target times?

Gonna sound like an arse in saying this but I'd rather not see you racing in something like a CLK-LM in the GT1 class Rocko....

However, if GT1 happens it'd be closer to 600hp/1100kg I'd say.

Been mucking with a Ruf BTR and it seems to be pretty solid at 500hp/1300kg, I'd say include it so that there's a Porsche in the series that's atleast got some downforce even if it is nearly 20 years old....

That's by far my favorite car in the game right now.

Would mean for the sake of reality the car list would be like:
BMW M3
Corvette ZR1
Ferrari F458
Ford GT
Ruf BTR (Stand in for Porsche, included for aero)
Jaguar XKR

Wish there was a real good tune for the xkr. Something to rectify such a pretty car sliding all over in fat-bodied-understeer-city...
