Is it tree reflection with a interference ripple breaking up the outline? I like reflections that have distortions in them.
Yeah, you're right! I wonder why I cannot see my pic any more.. only a small pictogram and the filename. Do you see the same now?Is it tree reflection with a interference ripple breaking up the outline? I like reflections that have distortions in them.
Your post is full size in the thread maybe when I quoted it just a thumbnail link appears instead?Yeah, you're right! I wonder why I cannot see my pic any more.. only a small pictogram and the filename. Do you see the same now?

Oh, I know, it's just that I've never struggled with getting focus like this. I think it's because I've only used split-view focusing on an old Minolta SRT-101, so I have to get used it on a Nikon.Low light is tricky on film. The ISO is far less forgiving that what we are used to in digital now
Either use a tripod, a string tripod if you want mobility or shoot in better light.
Really nice shotsSome captures from along my morning walk, the bluebells and leaves are beginning to open up.

Altre due curve su un sentiero di montagna circondato da una vasta vegetazione di alberi di ogni genere. Segui queste strade e come avventurarti all'Autunum Ring come scritto in qualche post Fa, la strada ha molta sabbia vulcanica come se fossi in un Rally.at the same time it is a lot of fun to drive many climbs make sure that you will never get bored
I was passing through I was exactly on the slopes of Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, which is 1000 meters above sea level.😁😁Wow!!!!
Where did you take these photos?
I do photography as a hobby, and since I started it was one of my dreams to actually shoot at a race in a professional way (i.e., just like a media guy). One day I was browsing through the web, looking for races near me I could get accredited for. That's awesome! How did you get a media pass?
That's awesome! I've also looked for ways to get accredited for events, but, like you said, most require you to be a professional photographer or journalist. But I've been lucky enough to meet someone who hosts HPDE events that I got to take photos for and also some grassroots drift events.I do photography as a hobby, and since I started it was one of my dreams to actually shoot at a race in a professional way (i.e., just like a media guy). Long story short: stumbled across the 24H Series website, checked the guidelines, and just applied for accreditation. Very few series don't need you to be some type of journalist / professional photographer / etc. to get accredited, as I found out after talking to someone else who took photos that day (Int'l GT Open). And since I have my own little website and social media channel, I simply put those as my "client" and I got accepted.

Nice!
Have you shared some photos of these events here as well? I'd really love to see them!
And in just two months I'll be back at Spa, this time for the International GT Open Series (as mentioned in my previous post). In October, I'll be at Circuit Zolder for the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (if I get accredited, applied on tuesday). So keep looking out for more trackside photos, hehe.
Great pictures! 👌Yes I have, but it has been a long time since then haha. I've been too busy with university to do more. Looking back, I think I have gotten a lot better at panning since then.

It's a lot of fun being so up close to the track. I really do hope I get more opportunities in the future. I have no idea where I'll be after I graduate, but hopefully somewhere near a race track.
What other tracks are near you if I may ask? That's awesome! I wish I was close to a track like Spa or Zolder. I've been to Watkins Glen one year, but that was just as a normal spectator. But my friends and I snuck into the pits for the start of one of the races. We were definitely not supposed to be there haha..
When you're at these tracks, how long do you stay at one corner / vantage point? Do you walk around often? I've been wondering about this a lot, especially for shorter races. I'm not sure how I would balance between taking the same photos at the same corner with walking to a different location, especially when the race is only so long.
