Zero chance for a PS4 release.
Why would they release it on a last-gen console?
The Playstation website has it listed only for PS5.Ratchet Clank only is listed as PS5-Title. And there the developers itself have confirmed it. I hadnt heard from PD itself That only PS5 comes. They have spoken about the new features what PS5 brings with, But on the other hand no PS4 release excluded. I mean one trailer said, exlusive for Playstation System
It would probably look worse than GTS on PS4 since they'd have to get rid of the pre-baked ray tracing for dynamic weather and time of day to work, assuming they're in GT7.Why would they release it on a last-gen console? It's got ray tracing, would it be as simple as turning it off for the PS4 to make it run at a stable fps? I very much doubt they'd do it... Somehow I feel like it would hold the PS5 version back. Just...no, please no.
Added where?I'm still going with there being a PS4 version with Daytona and the snow track having static time and weather settings, these two were added in 2020, deep into GT7 development.
He's a data miner. Check the wish list thread for his findings.Added where?
There is no Daytona in GT Sport, but we saw it in the GT7 trailer. I dunno what snow track you're talking about...
There won't be a PS4 version. In my case, the only reason I ever bought any PlayStation console was because of Gran Turismo. I'm not gonna say it's like that for any other Gran Turismo players, but since Polyphony Digital is literally part of Sony, I doubt they're gonna make a PS4 version, especially after the recent end of PS4 production. They're gonna want to sell the PS5. They're never gonna release it on the PS4.

That doesn't really mean anything other than something to do with these two tracks being involved in GT development, most likely testing for GT7. GTPSP has an entry for Red Rock Valley and a few other tracks that don't actually appear in the game in any way, even when hacking. Both were added to the GT Sport track data (early 2020)
He is right, after all. The data was added to GT Sport, but he didn't mention at all that is available to everyone, nor you can cheat it in order to play it.That doesn't really mean anything other than something to do with these two tracks being involved in GT development, most likely testing for GT7. I'm hoping that GT7 isn't a game that is possible on PS4 hardware.
The PS5 is as strong as the current high-end gaming PCs...it can handle it.I'm not even remotely an expert but I really hope they don't include ray tracing in the actual driving areas. Unless the engineers at Polyphony are absolute miracle workers, the implementation of ray tracing may be too expensive to improve the things we really want improved, like the tire physics.
As far as physics go, the problem in GTS is the lack of surface detail in force-feedback.

As far as physics go, the problem in GTS is the lack of surface detail in force-feedback. It's like sponge tires on a sponge road. ...Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but it's just not right. I just end up using the motion controls on the DS4 instead...
Framerate and input latency is another big thing. 120fps absolutely must be an option now that it's possible without negatively impacting graphics. The difference in input lag between 60 and 120 fps is massive, even on a 60Hz display. It makes the difference between catching a slide and fishtailing into a barrier.
The only benefit with PS5 is the ultra quick SSD as I have seen online how Spider-man remastered loads in at least 50-60% quicker than the original game..
I hope the oval layout keeps the rain for the final release, that could be fun. Both were added to the GT Sport track data (early 2020)
I am positive that there was word that GT7 is aiming for 120hz. It might be bs because they also entertained the idea of 240hz. I think Kaz might have his head in the clouds.
If there are two modes - performance and graphics, I know which one I will choose every time for online races.
