The dude’s glasses ended up in the car....

It’s amazing sadly this guy isn’t sitting in jail right now all because, “I thought it was a deer though, so we’re good right?”

Why has it taken so long for this evidence to be brought to light?
Attorney. General.

Bloody hell, and I thought Dick Cheney's misadventures with shotguns were bad.

It's always nice when some people can now have the term "former" in front of their name. It's so great to hear former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler. Well now she can also be called former WNBA Atlanta Dream owner. A new ownership group has purchased the team with retired Dream player Renee Montgomery as one of the new co-owners.

The Atlanta Dream made headlines last year when Loeffler took objection with the players political activism supporting Black Lives Matter so the players responded by supporting her opponent in the Georgia elections. They all posed with "Vote Warnock" t-shirts on and worked hard to get the vote out. It was so spectacular how those ladies handled that situation.

Speaking of sports, current AC Milan player and major ******* Zlatan Ibrahimovic criticized LeBron James and other athletes saying they shouldn't get involved politically or socially. He said "Do what you do, do the category you do". So he was basically echoing that blonde Fox News ***** Laura Ingram a few years ago when she also criticized athletes getting involved by saying "Shut up and dribble". This infuriates me to no end. Who the **** are you to say athletes or celebrities should stay out of political and social issues!!!!! They have rights to comment or get involved politically or socially just the same as me or anyone else has. Why does playing sports or being involved in entertainment disqualify you from having opinions?!?!

"Just look it up."

Absolute garbage pandering to the stupidest people on the ****ing planet.

Bold enough to air the lies, but scared as hell to actually believe them b/c they know a lawsuit would force them to back up those claims or likely get put of business paying off the other party.

That's just it, they're explicitly not airing the lies. They're being extra double careful to not air the lies, even if they're not the ones pushing them, because they're scared of the lawsuits that are sure to follow. And instead of calling out the lies for what they are, they urge the base to find the lies themselves, because they want to further the lies without getting their asses held over the fire. It's transparent and it's absolutely ****ing pathetic.

People don't have a problem with celebrities using their platform to get a message out. People have a problem with the message.

The right says they don't want to hear from celebrities, but then they sure latch on when Jon Voight (not the dentist), Dean Cain and Chachi push their narratives.

****-eating McCarthy is a ****ing joke. Politicians do tend to be two-faced, but this ****ing jackass can't even remember which face he's supposed to be wearing at any given moment. Right trash.

The hypocrisy of this “stay in your lane” mentality is on display when a celebrity or athlete echoes their own talking points. Then they’re more than happy to have them on their shows to speak on subjects outside their lane.

Now I can't get that song "Walk Away Renee" out of my head. "You're not to blame..." Although I guess she did the opposite of walking away. How about "Kelly Watch The Stars"?

Audience Member #2: "BLM canceled him."

They don’t come much more “elite” than Pete Hegseth. He got a BA from Princeton and a MPP (Masters of Public Policy) from Harvard. His “real Americans” shtick is just man-of-the-people cosplay.

Maybe in some backwoods town diner on Sunday after morning service with a bunch of 50+ year old white folks....

Edit* I just looked up esoteric. I'm guessing the tweet is pointing out the irony.

In my experience the only thing those people are talking about is the got damn bill collectors always callin on the phone, spoofin numbers, drivin me up a wall, and hollerin at the kids to get up because if y'ain't early yer late! Boy if you ain't ready by the time I leave fer werk you'll afta drive the lawnmower to school again! Don't forget to fill the gas can on yer way home! Earn yer keep and quit spendin all my damn money!

"In an ever-changing, incomprehensible world the masses had reached the point where they would, at the same time, believe everything and nothing, think that everything was possible and that nothing was true. ... Mass propaganda discovered that its audience was ready at all times to believe the worst, no matter how absurd, and did not particularly object to being deceived because it held every statement to be a lie anyhow. The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust that if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along that the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness." ~Hannah Arendt (The Origins of Totalitarianism)

Came across this quote from Hannah Arendt's book analyzing the rise of totalitarian regimes in the first half of the 20th century. Kind of chilling how entirely accurate a description of Trump's America this is ... turbo-charged for the Internet Age.

Amazing coincidence that the incredibly inpractical CPAC stage design is identical to the Odal Rune design adopted by the Nazi SS and adopted by the American national socialist movement in 2016.

Couple of the articles I read, Hyatt really seemed to flip their view on it from, "We don't think it's that" to "We find such things abhorrent" after a day.

I'm not seeing it.
