"Let's make America great again".

The guy is literally his first day in office and is already ripping his own people off.

Although I'm probably not supposed to feel any remorse whatsoever for Trumpists. You get what you deserve.
That is not the correct chart, although the genuine one isn't looking much better.

The token website reveals that only 200 million tokens (20% of the total supply) are actually available publicly, while the remaining 80% are allocated to various VCs/insiders, though all their allocations are currently locked up and cannot be withdrawn. The first unlock (360 million tokens) is going to begin three months after the token's launch. 10% of those 360 million are going to unlock initially while the remainder is going to unlock linearly over the course of 24 months. While the token has no actual real world value I wouldn't call this "project" an outright pump and dump. However I would expect the price to start coming down real fast once that initial unlock happens and the insiders start dumping their bags on retail. (Unless the decline in his token's price happened to trigger Trump's ego and he decided to give it an actual use case. I wouldn't put that past him).

This sycophant wants to amend the US Constitution to allow Trump a third term.
Great... we can have Obama back to run against him.

Quite funny in a pathetic way given that the 22nd amendment was introduced by butthurt Republicans who were cross about a Democratic Party President running for four terms that he was legally entitled to.

It's specifically written in a way that prevents it from applying to anybody currently alive but Trump (or Biden, I guess).

Just like Putin's amendment! The President is limited to two fixed terms except if he happens to be in office right now.

I knew this would happen. Next they will push to eliminate public voting for President and turn it over to the state legislatures. All in the name of "public voting is too corrupt and can't be trusted".

We should take Claudia Sheinbaum suggestion to rename this country "Mexican America." Mostly because we would have a National Anthem written by Cheech Marin.

Mexican America don't like to just get into oil wars,
it loves tacos, and football, and snorting white powder too

During the same press conference he also said...

”Gaza is interesting. It’s a phenomenal location, on the sea. The best weather, you know, everything is good. It’s like, some beautiful things could be done with it, but it’s very interesting.”

...has he been promised a new Trump tower location?

I have it on good authority he is planning an entire city! Heard it's going to be called Trumpania.

I forgot, which candidate was it that would be bad for the Palestinians again?

Ironic - if Trump actually understood the positions of Jordan and Egypt he would understand that they agree wholeheartedly on the Palestian Solution. Jordan and Egypt don't like taking refugees because they believe that Hamas is embedded and they're probably right.

100%. There's no way he doesn't get promised a cut of any new territory he helps Israel claim. And for someone who barely gives any ****s about Americans, he definitely doesn't care what happens to the Palestinians as long as he profits.
Sounds a lot like a "cleansing".
Step 1: Gaza. Step 2: The West Bank.

I guess moving the people out is technically better than just straight up murdering them all. But not by much, and even then a lot of people would die in the process. There's no way you displace an entire population like that without basically shoving them onto trucks at gunpoint, and on the other end there will be no infrastructure to support them.

But nah, Israel needs more coastline.

I think we're all (all in this case is not limited to Americans) simply along for the ride until some critical mass of people have had enough. As soon as SCOTUS hands Trump a ruling he doesn't like I think he will intimidate John Roberts and possibly ACB into resigning, install 2x puppets and then effectively rule the USA, if not the world, by executive orders that will be unchallenged. He'll be happy to keep congress around - even a democratic majority congress because they won't matter and they will give him the appearance of legitimacy. The end run to a dictatorship that doesn't even change the rules. Reminds me of this bit from Asimov -

Korell is that frequent phenomenon in history: the republic whose ruler has every attribute of the absolute monarch but the name. It therefore enjoyed the usual despotism unrestrained even by those two moderating influences in the legitimate monarchies: regal honor and court etiquette.

We are barreling towards becoming a nation like Iran...but with no constraining outside influence and certainly no honor nor etiquette.

I'm more surprised that Clarence Thomas hasn't accepted his buyout.....I mean resigned by now. I estimated it would be sometime within the first 60 days of the dictator's reign.

I would say because Trump needs to get a younger judge in there.
So he might resign nearer the end of Trump's term. But if Trump acts to suspend term limits like we all expect him to, then there will be no need. Thomas can stay there until he dies, because Trump (or his successor) will be there to fill the spot.

Trump and friends don't really need to think ahead for how they'll continue to control the system when the entire plan seems to be to undermine the system to the point that they cannot be deposed by any democratic means.

He doesn't kill his own people mate.

The January 6th rioters he pardoned were a friendly bunch who love cops and the vice president I guess.
This is the part where you're like "oh yea, I forgot about Mike "So What" Pence. And I also forgot about congress, and General Milley and the protesters that were in between Trump and a photo op with a bible! So you know what, I was wrong about Trump not killing his own people. I should re-evaluate a lot of things"

Or something like that.

Trump is absolutely going to kill his own people over this.

Red states are, by and large, some of the poorest states that rely more on federal dollars. Bubba T. Cousindiddler of backwoods Mississippi likely voted for Trump and is on Medicaid, SNAP, and other government assistance. They're about to get a shock when their medication is now no longer covered.

Medicaid needs to be revamped to get people who shouldn't have it off of it, but we shouldn't blanketly just stop it in 24 hours. Same with pretty all government handouts. There are a lot of people who get assistance that shouldn't and there are a lot of people who need assistance for legitimate reason that don't get it. It's a broken system, but what Trump is doing is just going to kill lots of people. I actually wouldn't be surprised if this is what turns some Republicans against Trump. Reps and Senators are about to get a ton of angry phone calls from people who can't eat or medicate themselves.
