Gran Turismo 7 - Could you help understanding of how points per race works in Nations Cup / Manufacturers Cup ? - Is it a BUG in points calculation ?

Hi Everyone :)
I'm a new guy in here and this is my second post (introduction was the first one).
I've started racing in the middle of 2024. This year I've started the participations in the Nations Cup.

Could you help me with understanding of how the points earned per race location (not the DR/SR) are calculated ?
I observed something strange as on the attached screens.

In Round 2 I've started in 2 races - in race 1 I was 5th (11 points) I started from 10th place and passed 4 players during this race number 2. In race 2 that day I was 9th (6 points) - Ranking board took the 2nd race with lower points value only 6 instead of 11. This is first strange thing? Any idea of how it works ?

In Round 3 I've started in 2 races - in race 1 I was 10th (5 points) in race 2 that day I was 9th (5 points as well).
In Round 3 player which took the 1st place in my race received 11 points.

Then I look at the table and I observed that other players in for example Round 3 collected e.g. ... 74 points 😨
How it could be possible if points for races in the same Round do not sum and best player in the same race as mine took the 1st place and collected 11 points only.

Could anyone would explain this to me ?

To me it looks like some kind of BUG in points calculation. But maybe there are some other criteria?

Best regards,
MaxHardcr

The points awarded are an average of the raw DR points score of the lobby. A race winner will receive approximately 0.5% of the mean raw DR points score (so almost 500pt for winning a race at A+ where everyone is at the 100,000pt maximum).

You're racing in DR D lobbies where the DR points scores are ~2000pt, so you'll be lucky to see 10pt for a win.

And yes, only your last-entered race counts, even if you disconnect and score 0.

Ah ok, thanks. Then do you know what are the DR point scores per each level D,C,B,A,A+ ?

You will only get the points for the last race you do in a day, in your case it's the 2nd race with 6 points. Another example, you do a race and get some points, an hour later you retry and quit midway (or get disconnected) you are back at 0.

In higher rated lobbies you get more points. In your case, you are in the "GT3" league, which goes all the way from the lowest DR to DR C. But some people will start in C, level up to B (or above), but will stay in GT3 and they'll get much higher rated lobbies and points

Now it's even more clear. Thanks!

We managed to have an A driver in my GT3 lobby yesterday.

But after 2 failed attempts (he crashed and quit) he was back down to B (where he also crashed and quit)
