Republican governance in a nutshell:
Forty bucks to get your identity stolen when UPS randomly leaves your birth certificate at the door with not even a knock.
"This wouldn't have been a problem if that Jew reporter didn't talk!"Lets just sum it up.

Well, he knows how to hold up a mirror to go with the smoke he's perpetually blown up everyone's asses.Fixing elections as in they were broken, or fixing elections as in ensuring the outcome?
Trump definitely seems like the kind of guy who is all about election integrity. He has taken no actions in the past that would suggest anything but the utmost respect for democracy and the rule of law.
They are trying to duck and weave. Or they will manufacture an actual disaster so the collective audience forgets.Goldberg has released more messages. Will be interesting to see if this changes anything, since I believe Tulsi Gabbard made the claim that none of the messages were classified information (although, I think she also refused to share/release anything about them & was pressed that she can't have it both ways).

Jeffrey Goldberg releases more Trump Admin Signal messages
Goldberg is publishing text messages he had previously withheld.www.newsweek.com
I think someone at least takes the fall. Too many people in the military recognize this isn't something you'd just get discharged for; they've all noted there are normally serious consequences involved for anyone enlisted caught doing this, and these people shouldn't get to walk away with barely a slap on the wrist. They are trying to duck and weave. Could Trump just pardon them immediately?I think someone at least takes the fall. I guess since it'd be a military case & he's Commander in Chief. @TexRex knows the laws way better than I do, though.Could Trump just pardon them immediately?
This should be a bypass link someone provided on Reddit."The statements by Hegseth, Gabbard, Ratcliffe, and Trump—combined with the assertions made by numerous administration officials that we are lying about the content of the Signal texts—have led us to believe that people should see the texts in order to reach their own conclusions. There is a clear public interest in disclosing the sort of information that Trump advisers included in nonsecure communications channels, especially because senior administration figures are attempting to downplay the significance of the messages that were shared."
Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor of the Atlantic
While they do appear to be releasing the full text exchange, The Atlantic has a paywall/subscription required to read it.
But the enlisted know that is going to happen because "they are top officials ". If there were consequences; who ever was in that chat should resign because it was the basic fundamentals that they messed up on. It should of just stayed on the high side...I think someone at least takes the fall. AAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Judge Boasberg is the judge who ruled against the deportation flights. He's the one Elon and some other Trump supporting goofballs started claiming was "corrupt" & "tyrannical" for daring to uphold the law than just blow Trump willingly like them.I don't know who this is, can you explain what makes this so funny?
Could Trump just pardon them immediately?
Only the DOJ has jurisdiction to indict in this matter. A less partisan Congress could coerce DOJ to investigate, but ultimately it's DOJ's discretion to bring an indictment. It's a crony state so yeah nobody reasonably responsible is likely to face criminal penalty, and in the event of indictment and conviction, Trump could simply pardon. Congress could remove, absent criminal penalty, but yeah it's still cronies all the way down so it's likely not coming to that either.I guess since it'd be a military case & he's Commander in Chief. @TexRex knows the laws way better than I do, though.
But, by fall, I mean resign. I have no faith anyone actually gets given an actual punishment in this administration.

It's much more likely Goldberg gets indicted, and given the partisan--and vindictive--nature of the executive, I'd be very surprised if he isn't.
Ken certainly isn't without his biases but he's got a keen observational sense of these things, especially with relevant expertise as a former federal prosecutor.
If they prosecute Goldberg, someone should remember how Nazi Germany started. That would be ****** beyond all doubt. They brought Goldberg into that text chain & he did the right thing alerting officials. Half of the participants questioned are already going, "Nothing was classified, it's not a big deal, we'll make sure it doesn't happen again", so clearly releasing the texts have been shown to be harmless by their own admission.
But, these people cry kangaroo court, banana republic, jailed opposition, and we all know Projection is a fundamental basis of GOP....
Goldberg is the exact thing this administration is try to eliminate, a whistleblower. That's what this whole thing of slashing the federal workforce is designed for. Eliminate any opposition. They're not looking for any financial waste. That's a smokescreen. Get rid of any possible neutrality and down the road rehire with only Trump loyalists that would never say no to the Orange Nightmare. That would be ****** beyond all doubt.
