I gotta give props to Cory Booker for his filibuster (which is apparently not technically a filibuster because he's not blocking a specific piece of legislation). This willingness to fight and delay is sorely needed, even if the effect ends up being small.

Also, some unexpected bipartisanship to allow proxy voting for new mothers, though the legislation still has to be voted on. But it did have the bonus effect of delaying all votes in the house for a week.
House Speaker Mike Johnson called the outcome "disappointing," adding that a "handful of Republicans joined with all the Democrats to take down a rule — that's rarely done."
