I know this won't happen but you know what I would love is a spec series. No tuning. What sucks is these series are about 90% suspension tuning. It would be cool if we could make a spec or general setup that everyone had to use so the cars at least turned better through the corners.

I like the idea of "spec" but with some wiggle room. Spec tires, spec PP, spec add-ons. But have it to where you could change downforce or something like that. Just a thought.

Yeah something like that. I'm not really asking Bowtie to change anything because I know that would complicate things. It would just be cool if we were all on an even playing field and didn't have to do 1,000 laps before each race to squeeze every tenth out of the car.

Better to come up with something now rather then bitch the whole season about it right? I don't see a way of changing only 1 thing such as downforce and policing the other parts. Only problems I'd have with all spec is the transmission toping out on the bigger tracks

Ok just purchased and upgraded per the season 2 rules ( no supercharger). I am at 595HP and 615PP. Is that correct?

I'm up for practice tonight.
Not that I have found on brake in just put 150 miles on it.

Kartguy, I usually run mine through a couple B-Spec races. Just need to put a few miles on it. Racing miles, practice miles don't count.

Good to have you aboard if you need any help with any thing just ask one of us will help.

Ok guys this is what ive got so far this is not set in stone and will change a little bit from now to the start of the season. This is just to give you all an idea of what im working on.

No blocking is aloud except you are aloud one block on the last lap so make it count. Rubbing is aloud to a point (you can’t just keep bouncing and beating on someone). You are not aloud to put someone in the wall intentionally. But I do realize accidents do happen, remember you can’t win the race on the first or even the tenth lap. Just try to keep it clean. Penalties for rough driving may be, taking points away, changes to the finishing order of the race, setting out for a race or even series suspension.

Race Format
(don't know times or dates yet)
Practice starts at pm CST and goes to pm CST
Qualifying starts at pm CST and goes till all cars Qualified
Race Starts right after Qualifying
All races will be held in my lounge
All Races will have 1 pit stop mandatory
All races will have a pace lap.

Cautions
Cautions may be taken out of season.
Caution speed is 70 Mph for all tracks except at Daytona super speedway it is 90 Mph.
When the caution comes out the lead lap cars slow down to caution speed that is posted above for that track. Just as soon as everyone is lined up single file the pits will open. You can’t pit until everyone is lined up. You do not have to pit if you don’t want to. Once everyone is out of the pits line up single file in the order you come out of the pits for the restart. The leader controls the restart at the start finish line. Please don’t jump the start. You cant pass before you get to the start finish line. There will be no cautions within 5 laps to go.

There is a lucky dog if you’re a lap down just go by all the lead lap cars and catch up as fast as you can. Once you’re caught up with the field you can pit with the lead lap cars but must restart at the back no matter where you come out of the pits.
