Update complete. 👍
Congrats to winners: seth, pipi, and gta/techy.
Also, a pat on the back to the Ferrari drivers techy and preggo cow for the manufacturers championship.

So, will we start Season 4 to rFactor? Or will we split it to GT5 & rFactor?

Definitely not rFactor.
I still encourage you guys to get rFactor though. ;)

Just out of curiosity, why not? Is it because running a server on rFactor is too hard?

I think this series can just be what it is, then. A fun 'club' type series on Fridays.

I think P2 should be the top class next time around. Just give it a little increase in power. Maybe 520hp, and 930kg, then let the LMP1's get to that power/weight and the faster cars like the Toyota, Bentley, Audi R8 can get a hp cut, make them run around 500. Just my suggestion.

If anyone is interested, I'm doing (or trying to do) a Red Bull X1 championship with power cut back and weight added to them. Link is in my signature.

1) That's one reason. But mainly because most of you guys don't have rFactor/a PC. Again, I'm not discouraging you guys from purchasing the game. I'd love to put together a couple of enduro teams. Check out RaceDepartment's Le Mans series. That is EXACTLY what we need to be participating in.

2) That's most likely what this will become.

Do you actually have to have a server to host a race on rFactor or just another computer? I have another computer. But it not all that great. But if its just being used to host, does it need to be?

I enjoy racing with you guys on Friday. So I would be down for club racing.

2 missed starts and a total mental lapse at monza really wrecked my chances. congrats gta, you're a good driver and deserving of the championship

Yeah, you need someone to have either a spare computer, or just not race/watch.
Even if someone were to use a spare computer and still race, it would be EXTREMELY laggy.

This isn't no "fun" club.

This is here is a competition.

Well not much of a competition when you can lose simply by being disconnected by shoddy PSN servers in the middle of a race, and it happens to at least someone every race regardless of internet speed.

There is intense battling in this series, I misspoke when calling it a fun club, you're right. But GT5 is getting sooo hard to take seriously. You prep a whole week for a race, then you get in the room and one glitch or another ruins it for you. Either your times gain handfuls of seconds and understeer, your tires won't warm up, you black screen or you matrix out of the race mid-2-hour race. Jus' sayin.

Though there are great drivers in this series, not saying there aren't.

Pretty much this. I used to practice all the time with GT5. Now...not so much. To me, it doesnt mean that much any more when so many things can go wrong. The last race did run smooth for me though. Hopefully its a sign of how things will be in the future.

Anyone thinking of their cars next season? I don't think want the Evora anymore.

I say the choices go by:
1st place
Constructors' champion team
Mainly so I get the 2nd choice :sly:

Thanks, mate. You prove an excellent rival as well 👍

It's disappointing of GT5's servers went down the toilet. I don't think PD realizes there is actual racing leagues in this game.

I never really have issues with the servers. I plug the cord right in the back of the PS3 from my router. Always make sure the computer is off and delete cache before I join a room. Seems to work but I have cable internet so that may be another reason.

I'd consider the Evora if there isn't already a huge demand for it. Otherwise probably something like the Jag or Beamer.

The reason you never finish on top is because you always choose a sucky car.

Stop choosing a sucky car.

I'm going to stick with LMP. I'll take the bentley as usual. I just hope the regs let the prototype classes combine. I'd rather run these cars at lower hp around 530hp 930kg. The tires actually last if you do this.

Not to brag, but when I ran the Evora at Spa, it was the only GT car I could take Eua Rogue flat out. I ran it at 480hp and 1280kg I think.

Any of you guys interested in running the Red Bull X'cars? Please try them out at the specs I listed in my interest thread. I'm really trying to get it promoted!

Except that last season I drove the 458 and this season I drove the Ford. Both cars that have been on top. My only other option is to try the Corvette out of the "non-sucky" category, or stick with the Ford, or go back to Ferrari with more experience and give it another try.

The Ford has potential I just don't think my tune was ever more than half-baked, leaving it pully (understeery) in corners. It could be the ballast placement. I don't truly know because I suck at tuning.

Maybe I should team up with you, could race with some leet-toons.

So I tied for second in LMP2 with Jav? I probably could have had a team mate here as well. Oh well.
