Had a good time racing last night, got a few guys from here and hoping next time we can get more involved. For those interested add me and Kalmiya117 as we were pretty serious in getting this series going.

It was a blast , I liked racing daytona with you guys . I had a great time

Had Room Open early. We had a good number of people show up. I am finding that a better tuning of the PP limits in both groups need to be done. Also a clearer definition of the Two Group Cars we will run needs to be made. Later on this week I will submit a list to you guys.

Overall After the first two races, Everything shifted into a easy transition between groups and tracks, I was highly impressed how easy it went. I also had to step up my game a bit against some new players and welcome it. Hopefully soon we can get a Points/Championship going!

I found it very beneficial to test and tune before every race. Had a great time racing against you guys and everyone was just out to have a good time and race some classic American iron! The cars were very evenly matched and with more practice and tuning we could all be able to catch up to Kalmiya and his wicked fast Z28 Camaro RM. You my friend are one great racer, i look forward to more opportunities to try and beat you.

I totally agree with you.. I had a great time even though I wasn't very fast.. I have to learn how to set my car up to handle better. I don't have my cars up to the PP as of right now so can get them faster but need to find a way to get them around the corners for sure too much push in the front end but I haven't set the suspension at all but will play with the settings this week. I want to thank everyone for opening earlier so I can join in I get up around 5am every morning so to bed early being 62 years old I need my beauty sleep...LOL

Just want to say you did a great job running the races and you made it easy for us to follow your lead and go from cars to cars and tracks to tracks.. Hats off to you.. 👍

Oh forgot to ask if anyone wants to share a good starting point tune for these cars it would be very helpful.. I can make an rc car handle but these cars are totally different when you can't adjust each corner of the car. I also get confused on the drive train settings. I have a whole lot of learning to do for sure..

Its so much fun, But I need to learn more on tuning, But I dont mind looking at tail lights for now, I will get better soon then look out...lol:sly:

Got my wheel , now some practice and a few tweaks and I will be ready...lol

Chances Are I am going to be busy most this week with personal matters. I will be happy to try and Host again on Saturday and or Sunday.

I have yet to start working on a spreadsheet for the Groups and PP limits. But will try to have something set up before next weekend.

Cool, I will have a room set up tonight probably for us late night folks, 1030 or so pacific time, gonna be either deep forest or the ring. PSN ID is the_german03

Revised Group and PP Limits.

Group One PP Limit 660
69' Camaro Z/28 RM
70' Challenger R/t RM
71' Mustang Mach 1
66' A/c Cobra S/c
70' Trans Cammer
60' Art Morrison Corvette
63' Z06 Corvette C2 Race Car

(Note: The PP Limits is assuming everyone's car is maxed on Tuning)

Group Two PP Limit 550

Mustang GT350R
Cuda 440 Six Pack
SuperBird
Super Bee
Chevelle
Charger
Camaro SS
Cougar
Lemans GTO
Corvette C2
Corvette C3

(I realize that alot of the cars in Group Two never ran Trans Am, but I wanting hoping to open the field out more. I am also once again assuming the Tuning of the cars are high. The PP limit is a rough Average of All the above in a max tune form.

The Track layout I was thinking:

Grand Valley 10 Laps
Deep Forest 10 Laps
Trial Mountain 6 Laps
Daytona Road Course 6 Laps
Daytona Speed Way 15 Laps
Laguna Seca 25 Laps

Thoughts, Arguments, Ideas Welcomed.

I still think the 71 Mustang Mach I can run in group 2 it can not be rm'd and the pp is low enough to run in that group. Also the stock 70 Challenger is a good car for that group also as long as it is not rm'd.

Nice lists. What is the pp of a maxed out c2 race car? Seems to me, my maxed c2 race car would run circles around my z28 rm on the ring, and the camaro is a mid- high 6 min lap. What I'm getting at is, is the pp limit good? I would check but am away from my ps3

TheGerman we haven't decided any regulations other than pp limits and cars we're to use. As far as the C2 Vette race car is concerned, its max pp is aroung 630. And believe me the Camaro is concerned Kalmiya has proved that a well tuned car along with the right driver, which he is, can definetely hold it's own against the higher hp cars.

Totally Forgot about the Mustang being in that Group. I reckon at that rate the Stock Body Camaro Z/28 and Challenger can run long as they meet PP limits.

There is a huge difference between what some people can do with some cars than others. I have raced several C2 Race cars that were tuned and often place ahead of them than behind. Once again, this is where The tune and skill will place people ahead or back. As for the C3 Z06 PP I have no clue as I do not own it yet.

Also, will a driver be using the same car for the season's duration? I'm assuming yes, but im usually wrong lol

I was thinking they should. I believe since there are Two Groups, there should be Two Cars for each driver to use. I personally would naturally use my Camaro RM for Group One, and my Camaro Z/28, or Mustang Mach 1 for Group 2.

I want to add Indy Road course to the list of tracks as it is also an American track. Other than that i think the track list is great.

I forgot about this track and I will add it!

Flat Grey weighs less, so more speed- lol. Thanks for the compliments. I played every GT Game so I've had a few laps under my belt. I also Autocross in real life so that also helps alot.

I believe a Race once a week would be easy to do, find a date in which everyone can play.

Nice kalmiya, I have also served my share of c2s just was wondering is all. I also have a well tuned red z28 rm I use, and coincedintally I autocross my 02 firehawk in real life. I cannot wait to get some races in with you guys!

For me I think that Sunday at 8 EST worked great and we did have a great group of guys last Sunday.. Are we going to race one track per week in this series? I think that would be the way to go.

I'm still having trouble getting the front end push out of my cars I have been working on them for days now and can't find that sweet spot. Most of the changes I make I don't see any change in the handling is anyone else having this problem?

If you want, send whatever car to me, and I can tune it to my best ability, then I will send it back for your approval?

Badbutch i would suggest asking on the tuning forum some good sugfestions for reducing understeer. I've pulled alot of tunes from there and revised some of them to better suit my driving style. As far as reducing that push here are a few suggestions, lower the front, reduce front compression and add more front extension, stiffen front springs for the lower ride height, add less roll bar in front, and give it -toe. Try a combination of a few of those and lwt me know what works for your cars.

Kal, what is a good deep forest lap time with the z28 if you dont mind me asking? I seem to be stuck at right around 1:13 flat with occasional 1:12.9x
