Any of you game on PC on your TV opposed to a monitor?

I use Sunshine host on my PC to stream to a Moonlight client on my FireTV to play PC games on my TV. It's not perfect, but if you have a Moonlight compatible hardware connected to your TV, you can give it a try and see if it works well enough for you. There's a bit of latency, but it's good enough to play games that work well with a controller already. I think single player survival FPS/adventure/platformer/puzzle type games probably work best that way, and it's not great for multiplayer games cause of the delay.

Yeah I use a 55" Samsung QR80. I only play racing games and I live in an apartment. I have a Fanatec Cockpit that I slide from one room to the living room and play on the tv.

Wouldnt just a long HDMI cable be easier and cheaper?
Except for being a tripping wire hazard, if there is no possibility to hide it.

Well, this method is free, so not cheaper for sure. In my case PC is on the second floor and TV on the first, so I’d have to fish the cord through the ceiling and walls to get it connected, which is a bit tricky and would have to be a pretty long cable too. But yeah, if you have both in the same room, that is of course a better method.

I haven't used a monitor for my desktop since a house fire in 2012. I use my TV via HDMI.
