I really think Codemasters no more holds the V8 license. They didnt feature V8/DTM in Grid. I dont even know if, when they had it, it was an exclusive or a non exclusive one.

Last I heard on the Codies Grid forums was that a DLC pack with V8SC and Bathurst was being readied. So based on that it's likely they do hold the licence.

I personally would love to see V8SC in GT5. At least one of each for example HRT and FPR/888 as mentioned above. Though if Codies do have the licence maybe some earlier models such as the AU Falcon in GT4? And Bathurst, Adelaide and Philip Island would be my pick of tracks if PD want to include some from Oz.

While we are speaking of licenced racing series', more would be nice. Those such as F1 and WTCC would be great but already licenced. Maybe some lesser known or single nation series equivalent to V8SC (or maybe at a lower price and corporate level)?

These are the 2009 cars, if you notice, the Vodafone Ford has a "Norton 360" sponsor on the windshield. Maybe Sony wouldnt like to see a 360 number on a GT car (you never know), but if that was some kind of problem they could use the 2008 cars, wich liveries are basically the same except there isnt a 360.

If we went by that theory, then the Subaru 360 wouldn't have been shown and the Ferrari 360 Modena will most likely not be on there. Kind of silly to assume that since I've seen a 360 exclusive Soccer game have a Playstation 3 sign in one of the arenas.

I doubt Sony would raise that issue, especialy since it's obviously "Norton 360" and the logo looks nothing like the XBox one.

I really like the sounds and the looks of these cars. Unfortunately theres no V8SC tv transmissions where i live, since 2003 or 2004. I just catch some youtube videos sometimes.

Another thing that i wil love to see in GT5 is the cockpit view of race cars. In GT5P we only have the F2007 but im realy looking forward to see the V8SC, DTM, SuperGT car cockpits in the game.

Judging from how detailed the F2007 cockpit is, Its a good bet that you'll see some more.
