Yeah I've been interested in Aurora for a few months, I posted a video of what possibly could be it on the unexplained thread, lemme go find it...

Guy goes a bit OTT in buildup but interesting pictures

I think he went overboard with that one. It's been speculated that Aurora is powered by scramjets, ramjets, pulse jets etc etc and none of these are particularly quiet forms of jet propulsion. The famous V1-weapons from WWII used pulse jet engines, and the unique sound of those earned them the nickname "buzz bombs". However, this form of jet propulsion is unreliable and inefficient, and the engines wear down quickly, lasting only 10-20 hours before being completely worn out.

Then again, it's possible that Aurora lands like a shuttlecraft, gliding the rest of the trip after completing the sortie.

The Aurora is quite interesting. I've heard about it a few years ago. I'm pretty sure we'll see it's official debut sometime soon.

Another over the top conspiracy theory would be the Philadelphia experiment.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Experiment

Some of the alleged side effects to what happened to those involved are pretty intense.

Wikipedia
Many versions of the theory include descriptions of serious side effects for the crew. Crew members would have been physically fused to bulkheads, suffered from mental conditions or would have just vanished into thin air. It is also claimed that the crew may have been subjected to brainwashing, in order to keep the experiment secret.

I'm still dumbfounded by the Dyatlov Pass....also, no Aurora unveil or additional sightings

Indeed, its a very unusual case indeed. Unfortunately we will never know the answer (or fortunately if its very bad news :scared:).

Well, this isn't exactly about conspiracy, it's the truth about greedy American firms, such as GM, Ford, IBM, ITT, DuPont, Gillette, Coca-Cola and countless others, making profits on both sides throughout WWII, not caring too much about American or Allied casualties.
Some of you may have heard about it, if not, just google: "Profits über alles", and get seated, because it's really shocking.

^ Your post contains no evidence nor links to prove your theory, conspiracy or not.

Please re-read Touring Mars' post 26, twice a day, to prevent delusional fantasies.

i used to like reading about theories but the kids that spun them and genuinely believed themselves concerned me and i kinda lost interest. i liked the spacey ones and the advanced technology things that was awesome, i read about this one story, some experiment in the 40s in teleportation of warships. involved magnetic things and such (im guessing they had the idea it would somehow take it all apart and rebuild itself the other end) they name dropped einstein to draw in readers, apparently it went wrong, it reappeared all messed up and men were fused to the hull etc. i used to frequently visit rense but like the rest of the internet places that used to be interesting, taking themselves too seriously as gospel truth got a bit boring.

Thank god this thread is back. I love a good conspiracy theory.

^The forum banner on his site says it all...
Edit: Freaking lol. They're saying that nuclear bombs are fake.

Linking it back to TM's post from way back when, the assertive and assured nature of their claims without any substantial evidence to back it up is, at times, bordering on hilarity.

It's good to challenge what we think we know, but it won't prove squat without a rational, diplomatic argument. "NANANANANANA I can't hear you" just doesn't work.

All I'd say about the conspiracy theories regarding the moon landings is this - it takes an extraordinary and deliberate effort of ignorance to deny the facts and evidence that prove the Apollo landings actually took place. To convince oneself that the Apollo moon landings were fake requires more than mere stupidity. It requires a level of arrogance and cynicism so deep that there is nothing that anyone can say or do that will ever change their minds, so the question is, why bother?

Those who believe that the holocaust did not occur are not only simply wrong, they are also disgusting individuals who deserve to be ignored. While I don't regard moon landing hoax believers with quite the same level of disdain, I do think that they are guilty of using the same methods as holocaust deniers, and hence are similarly able to arrive at spectacularly incorrect conclusions. One should simply ignore people who flatly refuse to acknowledge the evidence. But for those who go that step further and actually attempt to convince others by spouting misinformation, it is hard not to regard these people as beyond contempt.

On the subject of Kennedy, aren't the papers behind the investigation of his death supposed to be released within a couple years to the public? I seem to recall there being a law/rule that after around 50 years, certain documents become available to the public eye.

They'll probably not reveal anything of value. I've always been of the mind that the Mafia knocked him off cause he double-crossed them with Cuba and the prosecutions of organized crime.

Yeah I can't believe some people think the moon landing was fake. Same with believing the Holocaust was fake. It takes a special kind of stupid to believe that.
