The Mazda MX5 is a car that sums up motorsport. It is nimble, agile, lightweight and cheap. Wherever you find motorsport, you will find the MX5. The original Mk1 model, is arguably the best, with it's extreme low weight and curvacious body.




The version used in this series is the Mazda Roadster TC.

We will be driving by the GTPlanet Online Rules, found here.


General Info

Time
The races will be held at 3PM GMT.


Room Settings
Tyre/Fuel Depletion: Very Fast
Slipstream Strength: Weak
Grip Reduction: Real
Damage: Light
Mics: Off
All driving aids except ABS at 1 are disallowed.


Timetable for Race Meets:
2PM GMT - Room Opens for Practice Session
2:50PM GMT - Track Closed
3PM GMT - Qualifying Starts
3:20PM GMT - Race Starts

Races are roughly 45 minutes in length.


Points System

The points system is as follows:
1st: 25 pts.
2nd. 18 pts.
3rd. 15 pts.
4th. 12pts.
5th. 10pts.
6th. 8pts.
7th. 6pts.
8th. 4pts.
9th. 2pts.
10th. 1pt.


Qualifying Procedure:
4PM GMT - Qualifying Session 1 Begins - All cars to track
4:10PM GMT - Qualifying Session 1 Ends
4:15PM GMT - Qualifying Session 2 Begins - Fastest 5 from Qualifying Session 1 to track, one hot lap only.

Race:
4:20PM GMT - Race Begins
Note: 1st lap is a warm up lap. Return to your grid slot and wait for further instructions on race start.
Note: At least one pit stop per race is mandatory.



Penalty System


Three Major penalties during the season will end with you being kicked out.
Three Minor penalties will end in a major.

What classifies as a Major penalty or a Minor penalty will be subject to stewards opinions, but for an example, a Major would be knocking another driver off of the track, and a Minor would be cutting the white lines out of the pits.

Stage Two - Europe:

Round Four: Nurburgring GP/D
Laps TBC + 1 Warm Up Lap

Round Five: Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps / Change Weather
Laps TBC + 1 Warm Up Lap

Round Six: Cote d'Azur
Laps TBC + 1 Warm Up Lap

Stage Three - USA:

Round Seven: Road Course - Daytona Road
Laps TBC + 1 Warm Up Lap
