So I’ve finally been able to watch the first 6 episodes of Apple’s TV adaptation of Issac Asimov’s Foundation book series.

I have to say I was looking forward to this but was worried it would be another generic load of rubbish. Especially after Amazon’s Wheel of Time mess. I was pleasantly surprised to find and very likeable cast and so far in its proven to be entertaining if a little slow at times and a little generic and dry too.

However it looks excellent and the cast do a brill job. Even the villains you’re supposed to hate, you kind of like and understand their own reasoning with a small amount of sympathy.

If you like your Sci-fi and want something to entertain for around an hour per episode then do yourself a favour and check it out.



Edit- Just finished the first season today. Really enjoyed it and now wait with baited breath for the second season. I hope Apple continue with it and don’t just drop it ala Netflix / Fox style.
