April Fool's Day!!

My prank was to super glue a hand full of coins to the floor outside of my office and then burst into fits of laughter watching passing students try to pick them up. Trouble with that prank is one actually has to remember to bring the super glue in the first place. :dopey:
PVA glue just doesn't have the same adhesive powers.

haha reading that reminds me of seeing people doing the old $20 dollar note attached to a string trick :P

did someone change the smilies for April fools?

 < awesome face = win!

That's what I was going to mention. At least it's not my computer playing up for once! I guess all of the smilies are the same for everyone.

Try switching two land line cables (the ports) on desks next to each other and watch colleagues wonder why they're getting each others calls all day. I just have and it's quite amusing.

anybody got anything funny/decent to report?
:)
ctrl + alt + down arrow on all 6 public access pcs in another department means all their screens are upside down. Cue confused people trying to use a mouse that inverts all your actions and then coming and asking me what's wrong. Denying all knowledge ftw. :)

not stupid enough to fall for April fool day pranks anymore, but anyway i've the day off work :)

I got my wife this morning with the old "there's a spider on your foot" trick. She jumped, I lol'd, she punched me, I stopped loling.

You do know how annoying this one is?

I get customers that call up saying my screen is upside down, how do i fix it?

You do wait a fair bit while they try to find the graphics control panel and then trying to find the rotation option.

For April Fool's today, I've put a sachet of ketchup in my baby brother's bag. He's absolutely scared to death of ketchup.

Gosh I love Google's ones... Gmail Motion - so you can use 'business body language' to convey what you wish to type in your email  Basically Kinect for your office.

Gmail's Paper Mail a while back was hilarious where they would print off and send you all your emails by post!

On of our local radio stations has been playing the sounds of a cat meowing in the background all morning. Even during songs.

This thread is always fun to look through again once the smilies go back to normal... 💡

I once saw a Jetta with an upside down M logo, presumably for Wolfsburg.

My little sister an I were going to do a prank on my other sister that we were both excited to be an aunt/uncle.

Tomorrow when all the smilies return to normal, hilarity will ensue.

Two people in my year had their cars bound together with clingfilm. Was pretty epic. I also told a friend that his favourite band disbanded because all the members got drunk and had an orgy in their tourbus. It worked.

I have an old joke program called "Error 95".

Basicly it allows you to make a custom error message and set a delay so when someone uses the PC it will show the message you left.

This morning my mum believed a clip about "Google Indoors", which is supossed to be something like Google Streetview just inside your building, house and apartment :D
