Hi I will try a try out
I drive a Subaru STI 07 hatchback version
501bhp 4WD (can't drive the RWD cars that I have tried) I can make Saturday and sunday from 10:00am UK time to 8:00pm and Monday to thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:30pm and Friday 1:00pm to 8:00pm

cant drive any RWD cars? Thats okay but we dont do AWD. Learn to drift RWD first.. You're more then welcome to come and practice that with us.

Ok but have you got any good recommendations of RWD drift cars that are easy to drift that don't need fine tuning

ZSP wats your PSN and any recommendations for RWD drift cars that are easy to drift and that don't need much fine tuning

ahhhhhh. im abut to cry...i had a need to drift with you folk the other day, but alas...PSN is down :'(

anyways, you guys can expect to see a change in me. i'll be on more frequently. things with motocross are slowing down because qualifiers are over (for now).

keep us updated on when the servers will be back up. i wanna get online and drift. also, let's respect the rules and moderators of this forum...i.e no name-calling of the moderators. haha

@topban - we are strictly a RWD drift team, so you will have to learn how to drift RWD in order to get on the team. feel free to add us and practice with us though

@meerkitty - the UK side can start whenever you guys feel it's necessary. i'm not sure if a whole new thread is required (the mods may find it unnecessary), but i'll update the OP whenever.

hope i covered everything :)

I knew i was forgetting something =P

if you are UK based, then i dont see a problem with Meerkat/Z giving you a tryout. otherwise, yes i'll get right on that ;)
 
Oh, im not uk based, also dont give me a tryout by meerky, he'd just give me a pass right now :D

I teached him some basics of drifting in gt5 anyways :P

Kinda sad here... cause i missed those 2 weeks, where i could have seen him evolve and help him do it :/
 
well if meerkat would give you the pass then you must be a good guy. and yes, unfortunately i WAS here for those 2 weeks when i had to hear him moan about how much he sucks :D jokes

JW: We get along well with meerky, only got to drift together once, he used a sileighty, i used my Z4(its all i drift online now, still need some tandem practice with it, mostly because im overpowered by most of others :D)

So we were on the autumn ring mini, and then fun part was how we moved on the ring, kinda like 2 bees tied together with a strip of gum :D
Passing eachother in every 10 seconds, then catching up and the same thing. The point was about how i waited for him to get along: tied together 2 corners, stopped. passed him and stopped, passed him and stopped, i kinda lol'd the whole time :D

But dont get me wrong, he did well for being new into gt5 :) I learned to drift within 2-4 days when i started out :D Got the game for my birthday in the 4. february and made the first pic about drifting on the fifth, hehe :D

I'll keep you guys updated on the PSN Crisis untill it comes back up. ;)
Also I'll see if I can get any good shots from drift replays. Anyone up for a Picture of a X2010 upside down (Litteraly the underside of the car) and a Mercedes SLS in mid flight??

I've been trying all sorts of cars to drift since PSN went down.

BMW M3 needs work on the gears. (Lots of low revs in 3rd)
Toyota Concept is tail happy. (Need to remember my old tune for it)
Camero SS Just bought it. (Stock suspension seems ok with a DS3)
Might use a Mazda RX7 a freind sent me and see how that goes.
 
Hey I missed alot of posts to reply too just then. Grr ;)

@Remi - I'm still not that good just been busy and away for the past few weeks. I do post some times when I don't need to but oh well what you going to do. Drift with Z when PSN is back and I'm sure good will happen.

@Z - I want too drift too. I was too kind as I don't know how much authoritaaah I have but I told him how it is. Add us drift FR with us and if we like you we may offer you a place.

@Thunderjolt - Since the EU side will be up soon I would like to drift with you just too make it legit. If you want a spot and if Z is ok with it I see no reasom why not. You are practically on now as you get on with us all on here. I'd like to see if you're chilled in game then I'd gladly offer you a spot. Oh and I've just built an M3 its quite om nommy but as you say the gears need work but I don't want the fully customizable one in it as I hate the whine it makes.

@Jeff - Hey buddy I need to drift with you on this. I'm almost there and more chilled out now haha. I love you and I'll no doubt speak on Xbox next time you're on.

Helloo there Walker :). How's it been? I'm still thinking about the UK bracket if your still up for it ;)
 
actually i have a better idea than a UK bracket...everyone post what timezone you are in. not what it's called, but the number. for example, i'm GMT -5. then i'll put it after your name in the OP so you guys can find who is near you and who will be on at the same times. then we can arrange practices and battles and whatnot based on timezones....just an idea.

@Meerly Yeah the BMW is pretty annoying. I'm gonna go and lower the top speed so it increases revs. If that doesn't work then I'm gonna use my "limited" knowledge on Gear ratios to fix it.
