Hi guys I am looking for a good RWD drift car any recommendations

Seriously try a Silvia. They're not that bad. Low BHP is easier to drift with. Or try any car that's easy to get sideways and controlable.

Did people not tell you in your thread. Generally a light japanese car. A mazda fc is a good start if you don't like silvias.

I've never heard that before. Well not all cars handle the same. You have to be adaptable to all types of cars. My BMW and Toyota are very different in drifts.

Tried S2000 good but need a bit of practice coz I go to slow or tooo fast

Correct grammer please?? Not trying to be a annoying or anything but I prefer people to speak/type in Standard English not Text language.

Srsly? You are saying sports-soft is too slippery on a 300 bhp car? You dont understand the concept or so said the code of drifting, do u?

Get an FT-86, buy it comfort hards, take anything from tsukuba to suzuka and start practicing. FT is the best quality/price related car to drift, also its great to learn with. I regret learning in a silvia with comfort softs.

Isn't the idea of a drift means the car should be slidy. Just need to work on your tune, steering inputs and throttle control then you will be able to control the drifts.

Stock FT-86 is still the best car to learn how a vehicle acts in a slide, its difficult to learn at first, as you know, buddy ;P

Ok ok I will get a toyota what ever it's called ok but siliva is quite good but If I get some good practice I probably be good I a silva

You want the car to be slidy right? Its drifting you wanna do!
Throttle control! Give it some power; but then let off it not to spin out..

Im thinking we schould just send this guy a car that we drifted when still playing with a DS3. Then we know the car works, and he should just practice in that.

@topban: Look im very much willing to help people out. But opening threads and asking everyone what a good drift car is a bit too much. Do like i did; do some research into what you think is interesting; in this case; drifting.

Ask yourself some questions:
- Where did this drift stuff start?
- What did they drive?
- What kinda drift competitions are there; what do they drive?
- Who is that driftking? (keiici) And this bible he has; maybe you could look for that on youtube and see if you can learn from that.
-What are different techniques of drifting; and how do i use them
- Maybe there are other threads on what GTP peole use to drift
- Maybe there are other threads on GTP that have people's drift settings in them..

And then just go practice, fail, practice more, AND THEN MOAR!!

Im not asking you to be able to drift in an instant; im asking that you put in some work. Be confident in yourself and dont turn to others when you spin out once or twice; we've all been there; we've all been noobs...
Like i said; when PSN gets back on ill send you this car i had and worked for me when learning.. At least then you search for a drift car is over..

Finally we have found a car for you!!

Meerly a cat
Is it just me of is racing on this impossible and uber boring. The darn menu music doesn't help either...

Yeah. The racing is really boring since the AI are always on the line and never make mistakes. I wish the AI took more risks and crashed into other cars. Also the music seems to get drowned out by the sound of the car for me.

Just to say I was drifting with a wheel IT'S HARD but i just changed to a ds3 ITS EASY

I would say it is harder with a wheel since you have to get used to the 900 degree rotation. With a DS3 all you have to do is turn a stick left and right. But it's also hard on a DS3 for throtte control.

Okay so you now have two options;

Keep at it on the wheel; this takes a bit more time

or learn to drift on the DS3 first, then switch back to the wheel and need two weeks to adapt.

If you where already trying to drift with a wheel; i would stick with it, you already have learning curve going there..
