I've only seen one RUF in GT5 to be honest, I guess because all of them looks identical :sly: So I thought there was only one. 👍

Huh? I drift a Nissan 300zx but which Nissan are you talking about?

The Nissan! I wrote it in the middle of my sentence.

Please guys, stop discussing about what RUF...
I started this thread to see if anyone else drits with ANY RUF.
I didn't ask for one particular one.
The only thing I said was that I was using the Yellow Bird (but I also drift the BTR) and that I really loved it. :)
So I was wondering if anyone else likes RUFs, not a particular one...

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Hope to see some opinions and pictures of some RUFs know! ;)

Without clearing up what the discussion subject is, how can we discuss it?

We understood your intent of this thread perfectly fine, you don't need to re-explain it as we don't have short term memory loss 👍

We're just clearing up what Twisty was trying to discuss so the conversation could work. That's sort of how forums work.

Ok, I tought I didn't explain my question well enough...
Sorry for re-explaining, I thought you had short term memory loss. ;)

Well that's not very nice, you should work on your people skills :sly:

Interesting, do you have any sources for this? I knew RUF was different from tuning companies but wasn't sure how.

Edit:  @ post 25.

@6:00, from the horse's mouth.

Fascinating company. The earlier RUFs were not as extensive as the later CTR2 and CTR3, but they're still beautiful machines.

Some people don't get that this has nothing to do with the RUF company , it's about People who like to drift them.
The BTR drifts pretty smooth on wheel but way to slow to keep up in a tandem train with S chassis...

You find them too slow and smooth? now that is interesting, you see them completely opposite to how I do.

Perhaps it's just the drivers I drift with

I'm pissed off because you didn't know which ruf i was talking about??? Lol are you serious.
GT5 has 5 different RUF's

RUF BTR
RUF CTR2 Sport
RUF CTR Yellow Bird
RUF RGT
RUF 3400S

Red - 4WD
Blue - RWD

When you say just "RUF", it is the same as say: "Ford".

" - Hey, i raced that Ford today, it was good! "
Ok, which Ford?

" - Hey, i drifted that RUF today, not so bad "
Ok, which RUF?

If you don't say which model, nobody will guess, because nobody have a crystal ball to read minds yet, darling. Do you understand now?

If anybodys ever seen me online then they know about the AMG matte black BTR with orange rims, its my primary drift car.. that particular RUF can be tuned to be very fast or very slippy; until some ballast is added to the front, it won't be both. The CTR is the BTR's vicious cousin, the RGT is fast..
Takes some mental huevos to drive a RUF effectively(except for the 3400s), drifting is easy on a controller(from what I remember in GT3), on a wheel, it's probably why my DFGT is worn out..lol
