Its Race day!!!

today is Round 8 of ARL Super GT S1. Today we will be racing at Sardegna A at 13:10 for 40 laps.

1. Pw for Gt500 cars is 7-35
2. Pw for GT300 is lap 5 onwards as usual. I would budget that you will finish somewhere about lap 33-36.
3. The only success ballast you can achieve for this race and the next race is pole position. as for the last race everyone will start from scratch with ballast.
4. The pit exit line is a non crossable area shown below. Anyone who crosses it will incur a 5 second pit time penalty for the last round.

Great race everyone! Lots of high speed straights, multiple hairpins and lots of elevation change...it's no wonder there was drama in GT500 all race long! See everyone next week for the (no ballast) final...let's fill the grid!!!

Thank you for letting me join so late in the season. I miss league racing and it felt great to get out on track again.

The bug has bit me so I started testing for next race. I felt confident because I am in tune with St Croix B and have always done well there but the reverse layout is absolutely perplexing to me. I either overdrive every corner or I brake earlier and feel like I am way early and need to coast. I just can't get the braking zones figured out. There are a few turns where I have found the correct entry angle to help the car rotate but I have a lot of work to do to get comfortable.

Absolute best lap so far is 2:18.9 using the bop that I raced with at sardengna. I hope there is a big turnout in GT300, looks like a possible 4 way battle for 4th in points if everyone shows up.
