was thinking of hosting a gr4 room tonight to get my RL buddies in.... also was gonna try to steer people to ARL to sign up since we seem to be doing well and can expand. are there any rules or protocols to follow for getting people here? was thinking of just plopping down the tiny url every new group of drivers(i deem worthy, mwuhahahaha) and trying to push them towards this site to sign up and confirm the F out of their confirmations

Go get em! I've been racing with you long enough to trust that you have the league's best interests in mind.

If only GTSport would allow the user servers to host 20 people. They prove that it can be done with the Sport Mode servers, especially in race C and all of the FIA races. Those have 20 spots filled almost every race.

It is pretty cool to see GT4 cars getting some love. I much prefer them over the GT3 cars(even in real life racing). But it doesn't mean I don't like GT3 and GTE cars, I love them! But GT4 is still the closest thing you get to a street car at the race track. That is what I like about them. Plus, as we have seen here in the servers it creates really good racing.

Believe me i can notice at times you seem to struggle in the GR3 cars but gr4 is always a great race

i really want to use a wheel (would make me the 5th-or 6th fastest driver i swear).i have the logitech g27 and have read you can buy an adapter to "port" it over to the ps4 and it thinks its a g29, has anyone done this and is it anygood? or should i just suck it up save and get a g29

I got a t150 with upgraded pedal set and like the feel of it better than the g27. Had a g29 a while back and returned it cause it didn’t seem right, was on nascar heat and sometimes it would turn a lot and sometimes turn just a little with the same input. For a starting setup the t150 is pretty good. Amazon had it for just under 200

I struggle with endurance races. Not with the GT3 cars themselves. Lol. You make a sprint series in the GT3 cars then you will see a difference in how well I do. Strategery is not my thing.

Same here, T150 wheel with the T3PA pedal set. I have had no issues with it whatsoever. I have been thinking about upgrading to a T300 wheel....not that it would make me any better or faster (cuz I suck).

You can get this for the G27 to use it for Gr sport.

Drive hub

DONT GET A G29. Ive has 3 jack has had sooo many issues with his pedals. Save your money. I’d invest in something else.

Fanatec is worth the money.

looks like the drive hub would be needed for when/if i end up getting a fanatec. am i reading that right?

^^ nvm, apparently it just lets you use more game functionality of the controller not "needed" to use the fanatec
Correct. You can use the G27 with the drive hub on the PS4. The Fanatec is a plug and play now (CSL elite that is)

In all honesty i never have any kind of strategy hardly ever...sometimes i go in thinking i am going to two stop and end up doing three stops and vice versa

if you are strapped for cash the Thrustmaster T80(or 90) is a great cheap wheel. It is what I have and use. Had it for well over 3 years now and no problems. Done many races on it and a bunch of rally stages in the dirt and wrc games. It has no Force Feedback though, so you will be lacking feel. But its bungee system kind of helps with the lack of feel.

Man, you're lucky. My T80 lasted a whole three weeks. Sent it back and put the refund towards the T150.

My problem is I can be quite hard on tires(in games). So with no actual feeling of the car I use them up pretty quickly and get very slide-y come pit box time. I have also only done a total of 4 GT3 races in ARL I believe, on tracks I don't like. hahaha.

I am the opposite in real life at the track. I generally don't use up the tires that much at the track. Especially compared to cars equal to what I have been at the track with doing lapping days. It just seems that in video games I am really hard on tires haha.

makes sense to me dont have to pay for them....hahaha

ya on the DS4 ive got no feel braking and i think thats where i lose most my time... and i cannot do MT with the ds4 so i cant even short shift to save fuel
the ds4 is enjoyable, i just cant get the stick fast enough with out being to twitchy and i miss my steering wheel

even kart tires end up being a big big chunk of expenses for karting... not always needed, they hold up a long, just the fall off is huge... but all those other jerks wont stop buying tires!!!!

I know! They all think they need brand new tires to be fast or something! Pffftt. Amateurs. Hahaha :)

“Everyone’s got a plan until they get punched in the face...”

no room up tonight because my wife locked keys in car, locksmith was two hours late, wasn’t a lock Smith but a tow truck. And apparently some one stole his lockout tools. Luckily he still had the inflatable wedge and I am handy enough to get **** done. And I ended up getting into my car. Luckily he didn’t charge me for basically borrowing his tools. But when we finally got home one of my neck yard chickens had gotten attacked by urban wildlife. Beat up pretty good. Some exposed muscle She seems okay though. Will check on her tomorrow to make sure I’m not gonna have to pop her neck or nothing Aye. Poor girl. What a silly night. And that’s the short story.

Luckily she wasn’t to far away. Cause she also had the only car seat. The boy got his first non car seat ride today. Hahaha. He’s tall enough. But not legally old enough for a couple more weeks. But. Got them squared away then had to do the patience thing. Life ain’t boring that’s for sure.
