Nissan Skyline Hard Top 2000 RS-X Turbo C (R30) '84

Here is the "worst" skyline.... I like it! There is a 4-door version of this car out there too, that I think looks even better than this one. RB20 is a real smoothie, but runs out of breath on the top end. Shift at 8k rpm.

Update 10/15/14 updated for new physics, added Nurburgring transmission

Suzuki ALTO WORKS SUZUKI SPORT LIMITED '97

Another Kei car beast. :P 4wd this time, so quite different handling experience to the Dangen and Mira. Very exciting little 10,000 rpm engine too.

On a side note, this has got to be the worst looking standard car model in the game. Those jaggies are appalling!

Hey Feydrautha, what happening? Like the new tunes and will certainly give you some feedback when I try them - after fixing the brakes etc on all my others which will take days!:banghead: Thanks for the heads-up on Alistair Reynolds; I have never read him but have heard great things. I am almost finished Hamilton's 'Void' trilogy and while enjoying it - boy, could this guy do with a bloody good editor! Hope you are well mate, keep up the good work!:)

Honda CITY Turbo II '83

Not quite a Kei car, but small and fun to drive nonetheless. Plus, a road going Honda turbo engine is a rarity and worth note. In '83 Honda was just starting to develop its F1 turbo engine, which would come dominate the sport by mid-decade. One would think that a company with the engineering pedigree of Honda would have translated that knowledge to their road cars (and I'm sure they did to some degree,) but this remains one of the few turbocharged road cars made by Honda.

Mazda RX-8 Type S '07

I used to have one of these. Traded it in for the Mustang. Shockingly unreliable for a Japanese car. Funny thing was that I had problems with everything EXCEPT for the notoriously unreliable Wankel engine. The Renesis will run for 150k miles as long as you remember to top up the oil every 1000 miles. Also, my Mustang with a 5.0 liter V8 has roughly twice as much power and gets much better gas mileage. Sometimes, though, I really miss the unique power delivery and exquisite balance. It also had great brakes.

I really think it looks better with the custom wing than without.

This one is dedicated to Peyton "choke" Manning. :mischievous: (Sorry, XS!)

That crazy inline-6 has such lovely power delivery! Around 100kg heavier than the Tamora, so you have to be very precise with it in order to do a good lap time. The oversteer is still there if you want it too! I recommend using the e-brake for maximum hoonage. Peter Wheeler come back already!

Can I please have the PP for the TVR? Otherwise the page won't display the tune - which I'm still trying to figure out why that filter is the only one that does that when left blank. I even have a dead cell for no PP tunes and it still doesn't show the tunes. Anyway, thanks!

I know it's a dressed up Mustang, but man, those Lincoln and Mercury grilles from the '60s are so money. Reminds me bit of the '67 Lincoln Continental (you know, that badass black sedan with the suicide doors from The Matrix and Goldfinger.) Tuned to a very mild 350hp. Lots of fun and very easy to drive.

Here we go again. Seriously, these things are awesome and I need one. Seriously. There is some good stuff starting to hit the 25 year cutoff for classic car importation. I did a quick search and couldn't really find a good importer/parts supplier to the US. If you know of one please PM me.

Honda BEAT '91

This car is phenomenal. The engine is a classic screaming Honda, winding all the way up to 10,000 rpm. This was also the last car that Soichiro himself signed off on before his death, so I guess that makes it kind of like Honda's F40. ;)

It is very hard not to like this car.

Is it faster without the turbo? Yes. Better? No. I find the challenge of trying to drive this car with the full 1049hp to be tremendously entertaining and worthwhile. Like so many things on Top Gear, it's better because it's worse. Give it a try, it only hurts at first, after a while, you'll start to like it! 👍👍

*for all of you cowards out there interested in doing (slightly) faster lap times, I have included the transmission settings for N/A as well as turbo*

.... Fantastic tune !! ... Never thought of buying the car 'till i saw this - now i'm having a blast thrashing bigger cars with it ... works great online and makes people laugh until they're stuck behind it !! ... keep up the good work

Thanks! Just curious, what tires are you using? This one is from when I still used RS primarily, and I was thinking about going back and changing it to make it work a bit better in SS tires.

Cheers!

RS purely for the racing online ... RH in the game when she's outgunned in the money pit International A's (!!) ... this car sits with the big boys so up to now it's had the tyres on to do the job ... for the record i've kept mine in the stock "Gris Aluminium" (it was worth buying the car just for the paint! lol) with a set of Oz Racing Ultraleggera wheels ... i did resist the urge to plant a spoiler on the back tho! I'll take her for a spin with some SS tyres on when i get chance ... probably on the Matterhorn ... usually i take the old Civic Type R '97 round there for fun.

What a pleasant surprise this car was! I thought it was going to be completely uncoachable because of the big engine and short wheelbase; but this has got to be the mildest 714hp I have ever snacked on. Deliciously.

Every car should have a V12. They literally solve everything.

Honda Odyssey? V12.

Toyota Prius? V12.

Odds against you? Got a Problem? Call the Equalizer. V12.

This car is an Axe Murderer. You may have gathered that I really like cars with way too much power; well this is another one of those. It is controllable, mind you; it just demands that you concentrate and be very precise with your throttle and brake inputs. I like that. If you find yourself in a slide, it is possible to catch it and control it (usually.) If you try to drift the car on purpose, it will murder you. With an axe.

For kicks watch the analog speedo on the left.

The noise made by the minuscule turbine in this thing is addicitive. There is a Best Motoring segment where Dori-Dori and Taniguchi drove one of these on the touge and it scared the crap out of them. I think Orido liked this "sensitive date," though.

Very nice grip and balance.

Update 10/9/14 updated for new physics. Added transmissions for Nurburgring, Mid turbo.

Holy F##kballs this car is stupid fast! (Which, incidentally, is my favorite kind of fast.) Surprisingly docile for 920hp as well. It has a touch of understeer, not necessarily bad with this much power. Just turn in early and modulate the throttle on corner exits. Best I managed was a low 1:22 at Seca on SS tires.

There are 3(!)tunes available for this car, Grip using SS, Wangan using SS or RS, and Drift using CH.

I had to go buy another Corvette for this, since the flat floor really hurts your top speed and I suspect makes drifting harder as well.

Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited Super Charger '86

I was in a room the other day where some loudmouth (there's always one,) was talking about how PDI made the MR2's handle poorly in GT6.

Rubbish.

Interestingly, I have found that most of the obnoxious loudmouths you meet online in GT6 fall into two categories:

1.) 40something know-it-alls who have no friends. They will try to lecture you about anything and always have anger management issues.

2.)15-18 year olds who are just getting into cars and are unaware of the depth of their own ignorance and ineptitude. Always drives with SRF and ASM on.

At least you hope that #2 will learn, we were all there once and you can sort of forgive him. (Sort of.)

There is no hope for #1. Troll him until his head explodes.

Update 5/20/14 changes to dampers, toe.
