I've only driven the 918 a few times but I don't remember it being difficult to drive. Odd.
It use to happen to me often, I make sure my car is straight if I'm going to make contact. The problem has got less with each AI update, I just wished they would turn their stability control off when get hit.Hey man thanks for the feedback I really thought it wasnt natural for me to be spinning like that but I guess I just need to glean up my act hahah
My experience of these 3 cars was the same as reviews I have seen. The P1 felt like it wanted to kill you but was controllable, the 918 seamed to be the easiest but then suddenly actually tries to kill you, the LaFa like a 458. This was my experience in game and reviews I've watched. I believe this was the view on The Grand Tour too?I tried the 918 for the first time in a while tonight. Hard to say if it's better, but it's still a terror. I'm not sure it's possible to brake too early with that car.
I feel like either it's inaccurately difficult to drive, or the P1/LaFerrari are inaccurately easy to drive. I say because it seemed like any time the three were compared in the real world, the consensus was that the Porsche was the most stable/confident and the P1 the least. Exact opposite of AC. I've done 14 straight laps of the Nordschleife in the P1 without any offs. With the 918 I'll have a catastrophic wreck in 6 out of 7 attempts, even if I hold back to a quick cruise pace. It's a real rattlesnake.
I suppose in the end, any time you have ~1000hp behind you, death is imminent. It use to happen to me often, I make sure my car is straight if I'm going to make contact. The problem has got less with each AI update, I just wished they would turn their stability control off when get hit.

The problem I've had with this new AI is that it doesn't seem to always hold to it's racing line. TT Cup race at Nurburgring Sprint GT and I tried several times to make that classic late braking move into turn 1 only to have the AI move over to the right and either PIT maneuver me into a spin or lean on me so hard I slow way down. It doesn't seem to matter how far over to the right I am, they still come over.
Agree it is easier to drive, but its also a lot more bumpy on the banking at old Monza now as well.
That blokes nicked my voice. I want it back!
Hopefully the lush, green winter version (or at least that one as an option). I'm sick to death of seeing the same beige dusty desert summer version that's been flogged to death in every other racing game over the past decade.
The times for the 'Under Nine' special event have changed - was that in this update, because of the live axle fix?
Used to be 9:13, 9:20, 9:28, now it's 9:16, 9:26, 9:40. Quite a difference.
Yes I can't remember if I posted that on here, I meant to do it. I had asked for this feature because I spent hours testing different cars before that one update and after the update. Not saying they added it at my request mind you. This was needed so much, now I have to take screenshots of settings for each car I need different settings with. Shame we couldn't have individual algorithms for the custom presets. Not sure why Kunos made no mention of this feature in the update. Also, I didn't notice at first that the controller settings and mapping are fully accessible even while on track. That is a HUGE deal in my opinion. Especially for those that want to tweak the controller settings because before, you had to exit out to the main menu, make adjustments, then reload a track. It's so much easier now.

Edit: Shame we can't organize photos into folders on the PS4 like the PS3.
Assignable controls interface added in launcher and in-game.
That doesn't hint to me that I can adjust the algorithms though. I use the same settings for every car too but I avoid using cars that are super sensitive for any long stint ( Mazda mx5 cup car for example). There are a few cars that I need to tweet the controls for a little. It was mentioned in the update notes:
Great that some find it useful to have these settings on-track. I use the same controller settings for all cars though.
A live or solid axle physically joins the two wheels, so any impact on one wheel (like a curb) will also affect the other wheel, as they are joined.
Independent suspension doesn't have the two wheels physically joined, so the impact on one has no affect on the other.
Live axles are as a result normally poorer than independent suspension in road holding, however they are generally cheaper, lighter and stronger than independent systems.

Yes that's a plus. However I have found a solution. I just screen shot the setting, then message them to my other PS4 account. So instead of looking in the AC folder I just go on that message and they're all there.Well at least PS4 organizes screenshot by game. and you can separate videos and screenshots too.

Same here, it's a really good solution. That's how I upload PS4 screenshots online. It's easier than using a USB drive I think.
