I expected in the rate of 150 cars in 1.0 release, but it will be 100, kunos might actully have remodel all of the cars so it can be understandable witch is a smart move as we move im the feature,

But given the cars will have customize and upgrade options it could give so much more value to the cars to, not arriving until 1.0 release through,

The car list could still expand much more after 1.0 release with both dlc and mods.

The lincence thing, and ingame currency sounds really intresting to me, witch both will be featured for launch. Witch i thought would come later.

This is going to be an very intresting racing game, and we could really see a true evolution in the racing genre, to even shake up gran turismo and forza.
I'm gonna take a potshot and say there will be no mod cars, not of big brands anyway. We may get vehicles like ambulances,, ride on lawnmowers, defunct car branded mods etc or fictional formula cars from the likes of RSS etc.

Dont think that Will be the case
I think we can expect some licenced cars through mods as well,

Kunos them self have even Said modders will work with licences.

There Will no doubt be mods with licenced cars, question is more at what rate,
I doubt it Will be at the same rate as ac1
But to say their Will be no mods from licenced brands is very unlikely,

The Audi RS6 was confirmed by Marco in the Overtake interview btw.

The Honda S2000 interior was present in one of the photos menus of the SimRacing Expo build and Marco put that car to example about some things of EVO on interviews of that event.

Also the GR86 Hakone will most likely be an extra option for the normal model, we have also seen in-game material about the Trueno Edition in the Overtake interview.

It seems that we have lost Nissan (hopefully it is only temporarily and that now after the merger with Honda, not only Nissan but also Mitsubishi will arrive on EVO on some point)

Edit: Another new car spotted I think is the Chevrolet Corvette C8 in the pitlane of Suzuka on this shot

I had the S2000 on at first but wasn't entirely sure. I'll add that and the RS 6 on now

I assumed as much about the GR86, same with the M2 performance pack. Thought to add them anyway because why not

And the Suzuka pitlane, I'm pretty sure that's just the Emira (which I wouldnt be shocked to see the V6 and i4 version of)

Yeah I realized it was the Emira after a while when I looked at the side of the car.

The funny thing about the list of brands is that Mclaren does not appear despite already being confirmed from the first trailer, so I imagine that this image is not the final list for 1.0 and there may still be more brands when that build releases.

For those who aren't good at fuel management like me, will there be a way to turn this off?
The truth is that I don't remember if Marco responded to that specifically but I imagine that there will be something for those cases (perhaps so that you can teleport to the nearest gas station if you run out of gas or something like that)

My guess from everything I seen, if you don't play the 'petrol head' mode you'll be able to turn it off i.e the mode where you rent cars rather than own them.
TBH I'd rather the difficulty settings and features be toggleable On or Off like in Forza games or Project Cars. For example, I hope it'll be possible to own the cars but also turn off the fuel and cops and jumpstart penalties.

I already answered this last week and you even replied to my post lol
Yes it will be optional.

Also in this other image of the Mercedes AMG GT we see the optional official aerodynamic bodykit, which I thought was something they were going to leave for the 1.0 with the rest of the customization options but it seems that the options that can be ordered directly from the car dealer will be from the first build.
