Well, I'll leave you with a summary of what I remember of what they've been saying these days.
• The game will have an economy system like Gran Turismo or Forza, the game will start by giving you a few credits to choose your first car and then it leaves you to your own freedom to progress as you wish, if you don't want this route and you're just looking to try out any vehicle you can borrow them for free as if it were a rental system, in fact in competitive multiplayer this will be crucial because the cars will be limited with BOP and you can use any available car, speaking of multiplayer, The competitive multiplayer will be run by the company Simgrid, many people ask why there isn't LFM and it's because Simgrid can operate on consoles too and that's important, likewise Kunos has already confirmed that it will give tools for there to be more leagues on PC (like the previously mentioned LFM one) or for people to create their own servers like in AC1 and ACC.
• Kunos has confirmed that they are developing a procedural system for creating maps for free roam with data taken from LIDAR system that allows them to put hundreds of kilometers of real roads with supposedly traffic, about this they have mentioned Germany (the areas near Nords to be exact), France or Italy, I don't know if there are several maps (because they have said that the technology is to make several) or these 3 examples are 1 map with parts of the 3 countries, there will be more information very soon.
• They have mentioned that there will be customization of the avatar along with the team members in terms of skin, appearance and clothing among other things, as we already know some licenses are confirmed for this such as OMP for the suits and gloves and Bell for the helmets.
• They have also confirmed that road cars will have both visual and mechanical customization and both will affect the performance of the vehicle based on real data, all customization parts will be from real aftermarket brands that they are collaborating with and that they will reveal in the coming weeks along with examples of tuned cars in the game, they have also confirmed that they want to introduce a livery editor for the cars so that people can create their own liveries and share them with other players through the game (it is still in development and they are looking into how to do it right since it is something they are doing for the first time)
• If you go the route of renting cars like in Forza or Milestone Rides you will not be able to customize the cars or apply liveries.
• The game will have a fully dynamic day-night system with volumetric rain, clouds and fog and dynamic line on the asphalt based on real data for each map, very similar to that on Iracing, it can rain in parts of the circuit and not in others, they have been asked if they plan to include a weather radar to know the weather in real time and they have said that they will try to do so to give the player as much information as possible.
• They have been asked about gravel and snow but they have said that there are no plans at the moment (since the priority is asphalt and having the rain ready) however as for general Rally content (cars and asphalt stages probably) they have answered with a "Who knows?"
• Regarding cars, they have already said that although many European brands were seen in the trailer and so on, there will be much more American and Asian content (they have said that there will be more car brands from Japan than in AC1), both in terms of cars and circuits (Fuji Speedway has been confirmed)
• Regarding racing cars, they have already confirmed that there will be everything, from classic touring cars (like the already seen classic Guilia Sprint GTA that is based on the one Marco has in real life) to F1 cars.
• Regarding mods, the SDK/Platform for these will not be released until the game leaves the EA period, Kunos will try to control it as best as possible by helping modders so that they can use the real licenses of the brands of both tracks and cars, what Kunos wants to avoid is people ripping content from other games for their own or vice versa and reward people who do everything from scratch to the point of including them in the base game if they are very good.
• The first Early Access build will have 20 cars and 5 tracks (I suspect these tracks are Brands Hatch, Fuji, the full Nurburgring course with Nords, Mount Panorama and Imola, which are the ones shown so far)
• The game will support triple monitor and VR from the first day of Early Access, it will also support DLSS and FSR and other technologies and features that will be revealed very soon.
• The SimRacing Expo rigs ranged from an RTX 4090 to a 4060 and the game ran well on all of them.
• There will be Drift and in fact there will even be a playground for drifting and test our cars.
• Regarding the console versions, they have said that they will exist and will be released after the release of the 1.0 Release PC version, just like what happened with AC1 and ACC.
