Thanks for that link, Stotty! 👍
I'm not as good of a driver as you, so I have a tough time of being consistent over the course of...I don't know...let's say 10-15 laps on one stint on the track (Nurburgring Sprint-GT layout). My times are going to be all over the place most likely. That would 100% be true in a car like the 911 GT3 R. In the Cup car I'd have considerably better odds at keeping my lap times close.
As you state, the GT3 R can be extremely snappy, so I end up running a fair amount of traction control usually. It slows me down a bit, but spinning out slows me down more.

About a week or two ago someone was in here talking about the bumpiness of the GT3 R when flying through the final chicane on Nurburgring Sprint-GT layout. I never really gave a lot of thought to it, but I ran both the R & Cup repeatedly through that chicane and he was right...the GT3 R is very unsettled, compared to the Cup car, when you clip the curb on exit. I was able to make some adjustments to reduce it quite a bit, but I don't think they would be changes you'd want to actually race with.
It's going to be interesting to see how the GT3 RSR drives considering the new position of the engine.
