Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X in 2021

Can anyone share their 'View settings' ? I am not sure if its my car set up or something that has changed since the update that I can't figure out, but there is so much movement when driving in cockpit view now. I am using PS5. Thanks in advance.

What screen are you looking after? I don't recall any screen other than the car setup and (maybe) the wheaten one that may affect the track experience as you are noting

Its the View Settings, once the race is underway. Movement, Look with wheel etc are greyed out.

Have you perhaps unknowingly changed your view from cockpit cam to helmet cam? There can be much more head movement on the latter.

I cant see an option for helmet cam anywhere. This is on console, PS5.

If you toggle through the available views the helmet cam is the 3rd of the interior ones. The 1st, or perhaps 2nd view is/are maybe the ones you are more used to. The views do have different options available so that's probably why you're seeing some greyed out.

Cheers IfAndOr. Was just coming back online to say I toggled through the views using the triangle button and now its all sorted and back to how it was. Man, this has been a frustrating one for me :D Thanks everyone.

I can only play GT7 with PSVR2. Too boring to play on flat screen.

Right now, I'm tinkering with F123 since the season is underway. That's a really fun game. I love the spotter/engineer and I love the pit stop strategies, especially when they change mid race

I know we're not going to get anymore new tracks but I was hoping they would finally update Zandvoort to it's current specs.
 
Not working on Xbox. ‘Needs an update and we can’t get it right now, please try again later’. Back to desktop. Oh dear. I’m sure they’ll fix it but that’s a bit of a frustration.

Especially from those who took the day off today for it, and now can't play the game at all.

In summary, if you've got an Xbox, DON'T BUY IT UNTIL THEY FIX THE GAME!

You can play putting the console offline;

From the 505 support page last night.
We are investigating a server/update-related issue affecting the Xbox Series version of Assetto Corsa Competizione. The game and the new 24h Nurburgring Pack DLC can still be enjoyed offline until a solution is deployed. Thank you for your patience.


PS5 version is working fine, only the “joker lap” bug that don’t reset the lap timer
 
Kunos had a small issue in the PC version of this update too, as it happens. Took them a few hours to drop a patch to fix it so launch day wasn't a good idea there either.

Of course, console patches take longer to approve, so I guess waiting a few days would be best.
 
Nurburg 24h circuit is working now on the XBox. I had to reinstall the game and the Ring again but it was worth it :)
 
PS5 with Nordschleife installed and very happy. Although this is much more challenging than GT7 version, for me, I haven't had much free time available, hopefully will be able to put some hours in over the weekend.
Quick question, in practice what's the deal with the pit lane?
Do I need to complete the GP circuit and dive off before re-entering the Nord?
Is this different in a race format?
Thanks in advance. Also Xbox users, glad the issues are now fixed.
