I want to get this game when it comes out, but with only one car class is does seem like it may get a bit boring after a short while.

How many tracks does it have?

It's getting GT3 and GT4?
I am just considering it more like an F1 or rally game rather than the original AC or GTS.
I like the focus - personally would like it to include the N24h track as per VLN, and GTE cars as an expansion, tho it won't happen and I'll still buy it.

I would love the team to work their magic on other genres afterwards again in specific packages. Can you imagine how good Kunos could make a classic le mans, vintage F1 or old school touring cars game?

First you guys (he said as if he doesn't own a console) get Assetto Corsa, and now you're getting Competizione!? Can we have something to ourselves!?

...He said again as if he doesn't own a console.

Joking aside, I'm happy you guys get to experience this as well. if you played and enjoyed AC, there's no way you won't enjoy this as it's better than the original. Looks better too, but I don't expect that to be reflected too much until later this year when the Series X and PS5 launch. 👍

I can't find it on the PSN store to buy yet : / But I'm glad I decided not to drop serious cash on a gaming pc, whew!

Two car classes: GT3 and GT4 European* series (summer PC and fall console)

18 tracks in total:
11 from base game
4 from international GT Pack
3 from British GT track** pack (winter 2021)

All laser scanned.

* Confirmed by pankykapus on official forum to be from the European series
** Confirmed by pankykapus on official forum to be tracks only

So you have some sort of a low-end, sub-QHD, wannabe-HDR monitor and complain about ****** HDR... That's like having a 720p monitor + some virtual surround headphones and saying Ford v Ferrari UHD Blu-ray has ****** PQ and ****** surround sound, LMAO
And in that vid you posted, it looks like it actually runs half the supposed framerate all the time + that is not "Epic" settings, dude...:boggled:
Oh ok, tell me more

And I'm sorry you feel that way

Would you like me to post a vid of me in settings and you can actually look at the fps in the top left corner this time?

@westblade85 ok bye

Epic preset @westblade85

I never cared too much for ACC as I find GT3 quite boring, but this was a nice surprise and I'm actually excited about it now.
Also, it will be the perfect excuse to give my rig some much needed use once again.

And, of course, coming from Kunos, this will definitely be a day one buy from me.

Good news for console peeps. GT3 isn't even my favourite car class but the driving in ACC is just so sublime I can drive for laps and laps and only stop when the fuel tank is empty  You'll finally understand what we mean when we say "GTS is good but still far from realistic". On that note, once you try driving in ACC it'll completely ruin Gr.3 cars in GTS for you so beware ;)

Now, the 2 problems I can see are controller support and graphics optimization. Yes, ACC is best enjoyed with a wheel but let's face it, the majority of console players aren't going to have one. A lot of people are going to be turned off by the difficulty curve if controller implementation isn't calibrated properly. Graphics on even some high end PCs it's a struggle to run the game at decent settings. Admittedly I'm not a graphics buff and I'm more than happy playing at Low settings on my potato laptop, but not everyone feels that way. I can see standard PS4 players getting lots of slowdowns in full grid races with rain and time progression unless Kunos can magically optimise it for consoles.

LOL, just like i said, not running the game on "Epic" settings. Thanks for your confirmation and you pulled a nice self-humiliation as a bonus...:gtpflag:
.... You still hungry troll? Damn.

I've got a troll second course video just waiting for you to say the word "mirror"

Okay, i'll keep it brief.

"Epic" is literally a preset in ACC:

So, you just chose that preset, and turned down/disabled various settings way below "Epic" settings.

Funfact: It seems to be a common misconception for casuals and/or console gamers that tons of PC games runing at "Ultra" (or in case ACC's case "Epics) equals maxed out.
Nope.

For example what i'd call a maxed out ACC is something like this:

Enough, 'k?

You have no idea what you're talking about. Bye Felicia.

Great news but I have a hard time being optimistic about the base console’s performance.

They better drop the LoD and resolution as I couldn’t care less about another 35-55fps slide show.

With Gt3c Gt4 and TCR race classes ACC would be epic. I don’t need more :D

The addition of additional SRO classes also opens the door to TCA (Plus GT2 if that actually catches on), which has some fun possibilities as well.

They could actually have a decent ladder based career mode just using the SRO stuff.
