If I’m really honest with myself, these 5 tracks and 20 cars could probably keep me busy all year long.

My excitement is tempered a bit by the realization that it will probably be a long time before I can get my home tracks into the game via mod.

Waiting for news about controller support. AC with controller plugins is very fun to play (more than you'd expect) and if they really wanna rival the likes of Gran Turismo it is a must to have a good controller experience. Until then I'll be watching this game's development from the sidelines.

I just hope they copy the multiplayer of GT7, it´s just great how uncomplicated it is and you are within minutes in a race with players that are around your pace and you don´t have to race aliens as a beginner. :)

Yes this, i am exited about this game but if i cant have fun with a controller i cant play this game. And dont come with you can like in ACC C etc because you cant, its crap with controller. It needs to be out of the box on par with Motorsport and or GT or something in between.

It's interesting there's only 100 cars at full launch. Kunos have been around for a while so thought the car list would be a bit more expansive. I know they are going for quality over quantity but still...
Shame I won't be able to experience it for a while...

They have quite a dilemma with the pricing. Its "just an early access" without release date, but they also know that with their reputation 80% of the customers will buy it in early access. So if they are too aggressive with the discount they loose all the full price buyers by giving the game away. I see many payable expansions from day 1. Thats the only way to make more money after early access.

I think I will get my Moza R9 just in time for AC EVO.. good bye Gran Turismo.

New Emira baby, exciting! I wonder if this game will have telemetry.

I'm buying this because GT and Forza need competition to start innovating again.

Competition = we might get things like an open world map in GT in the future

If it's not coming to PS5Pro / PSVR2 it's not for me. The no PC experience with GT7 is the best ever.
Really cool to have a potential GT7 contender. I got some hope. I must say from the first images and gameplay I do find the GT7 engine looking more realistic / higher detail. ACE looks like a nicely polished (slightly washed out) game where GT7 looks like it's almost realistic to me. Very curious how the physics engine hold up to GT7 with a Trueforce/VR setup.
Enjoy the open beta if you are on Windows!

Controller support was confirmed on the steam page, and also on the official site. Not sure why people are still wondering about it.
Because support doesnt mean its good. Support it and let us make it playble is not how it should work. Give us a good out of the box experience with controller if u decide to support it.

GT7 is still pretty much the visuals benchmark, but on a high-tier PC I suspect ACE is capable of getting close.

Trueforce and VR don't change the physics engine, just give users more feedback from the physics engine, given Kunos's track record with both (and that ACE supports OpenXR natively) and historically better physics modelling I don't think this one is going to be an issue.

Many thanks.

A demo would be very welcome for this game when it comes to console, Ive literally no trust in the franchise when it comes to effective controller mapping. Im hopeful it does a project cars 3 and has fully dialled in controller sensitivity out the box, It should be possible to brake without insta-lock up and the same for correcting over/understeer. It makes a lot of financial sense to get the controller map right this time, but if its farmed out to external dev's the motivation will likley be time crunch rather than high quality output...
