That’s quite a list. Good to see VR and triples getting continued support!
They’ve already surpassed EA WRC, who have yet to supply even one update for both since it first arrived 10 months ago.

What is your setup? Because I'm getting +165 fps on high settings and DLSS (practice on a cloudy day/variable weather scenario.) My GPU usage is 95% or better.
Are you playing in VR? I didn’t think DLSS was supported yet. I’m on a valve index, 13900k / 4090.

Whatever they did to optimize triples in this latest patch did little to nothing for performance unfortunately.

Really? On my rig I got about a 20 fps increase on 5760x1080. Now hovering around 70-75 fps in practice laps. Still a lot less with 19 other cars on grid though. About 40-50 somewhere.
And DLSS still doesn't work on triples.

I’ve lost all my FFB in this sim now, not sure what’s happened or changed, at first I thought it was maybe because I updated to DLSS4 yesterday ( not sure why it would cause that ) but nope, I fired up ACC and Forza Motorsport and it was just fine yet ACE was a no go for some reason

I saw a member on the official forums reporting the same thing after updating the drivers.

Saw it also there. Looks like this is the same guy because it's the same post. I've updated like many others, no issues, less ghosting, FPS more stable.

Yeah that was me also.

Strange coincidence? Did you try to revert? Can't imagine that this is caused by the DLSS file.

With a mix of medium/low settings I almost get it locked at 60 fps in practice. Looking at 27-33 fps with a full grid. I'm sure they'll get it sorted though. I'll be patiently waiting for the next update. I really like how the cars drive.

My post was on the 566 drivers. Have you tried the new 572.16?

Does anyone else have the problem with the “look behind” function not working properly?

I mapped it to a button on my wheel and when I press and hold the button it looks back for like 0.1 seconds. No improvement with this update, I’m guessing based on not seeing this reported it’s a problem specific to my hardware. Old thrustmaster T300RS, latest firmware. I recall at least one other person mentioning but can’t find that

When you set the button mapping you have to set the option for it to hold (the rear view).

So my FFB is back after deleting the game and doing a fresh install 🙌🏻 bit weird but hey ho, I guess it’s the digital equivalent of hitting your engine with a hammer if it starts playing up
Not sure if you tried this method but if it happens again, try checking the integrity of the files before deleting the game. Might save you a lot of time.

Well, as a gamepad player coming from FM, my expectations are simpler: Is the car I see/hear onscreen feels relatable to my control inputs and what I expect a car would behave in the real world and my broad notions of changing direction, understeer/oversteer, braking power and limits, weight shift, grip, acceleration and deceleration.

And out of the gate, yes, it does. The only thing I feel a bit lacking (but workable) is the rumble response to braking, I think it could be better in letting me know if I'm locking the brakes or about to.

Not played since the first week. Waiting for online mode to be avaialble. Kunos sure have had issues getting it working. Hopefully it will become avaiable next week.

Patience is sure key.

Online mode will only add the driving academy and special events, so not a huge amount of content.

I am looking forward to chasing 3 starts in each lesson :)

I dont think content drop 1 is far off either. Online mode dosent just add driving academy and special events. But also driver profile and game economy.

Completely agree with him. the feeling is lacking in steering wheel feedback compared to AC1.
Actually agree, with you and him, as a driver part of the (apparently ignorant) majority, actually driving real cars and even going to track, interested in immersion and simulating how real driving feel, I have set and and always will, adjust FFB on my DD wheel to feel like the real thing. So for me I get excellent FFB from AC, ACC, ACE and most other tittle.
Honestly, the reason given by GM to prefer AC FFB in the video sound hilarious to me, but to each their own.
I love AC, ACC and ACE and that is all that matter to me. Feeling blessed to be part of the ignorant majority according to GM. I just hope those part of the illuminated are having as much fun with their SIM as I do. :sly:
