You probably should unbind your h-shifter, the game will have to use paddles on all cars.
I've unbinded my shifter (and unplugged it), binded my paddles to no avail. Could it be a early acess thing. This process works for cars in regular Asseto Corsa.

Sorry, it did not work, I thought it would work.
I have not tried it myself, as I am actually glad that ACE, and AC, actually does automatically use the proper shifting method for each car. Since I have both shifter, no issue for me.
I hope you find the solution.

Could it be one of the “assists” settings in the quick race/practice setting menu? I can’t think what all options are there but I know I have to mess with auto clutch and a few other toggles when I go back and forth between H-shifter and paddles

I've tried every combo of assists. None change the h-shifter car to paddles. It must be my download of the game, or some "early access" thing. Will try uninstall re-installing as a last resort. I don't want to lose what progress I've made.

Next update could be quite big. Given what i heard on overtake GG. Been quite some time since the last one. And it seems like the coming updates will arrive with shorter time frames going forward.

The most exciting one is proably with the open world, cant wait to see how that plays out.

I just saw this article, nothing coming too too soon. I still haven’t spent enough time with the current release..

I am going to be patient with this title.
As long as 1.0 release is solid i will not mind waiting.

Just see that. Will tune in tomorrow and check it out sounds very exciting.

Yes it really looks to be some good things coming in the next update. And it sounded to me that early access release 2 will be bigger than road map first stated.

So it looks like modders could create parts for cars maybe. Even before 1.0 if the video is anything to go by.

Anyone else feel like they're trying to gaslight us into thinking it was never going to be always-online?

Regardless, I'm relieved that they decided to drop it (and potentially bring back a sandbox mode) - as soon as that update is released, I reckon I'll pick it up.

All hail Lord Kunos, I'm sure he was the driving force behind these decisions.

It seems there's 9 new cars in the new preview, and 3 tracks.
Nice diversified list of cars,,but the tracks..., i hope they put original, less used tracks in, not excited that much for red bull ring, donington, i forget the 3rd one, etc.
Looks really nice, pics on overtake.gg.
Hope it's allowed to post pics from the site.
Looking nice..

It was discussed a lot on the support forum but its a communication issue in my opinion the online part was mainly due to the open world and as a result the career mode and events was online due to being part of that system. The choose anything free modes(like AC and ACC) were offline but this wasn't really in the early access release and wasn't explained. Either way the community reaction and the servers getting brutalised probably made them focus as being offline as much as possible.

There's a summary of the modes of play on traxion.gg, seems pretty solid. Career and open mode, which is more of a regular sim all content available, both offline except of course for any mp, events activities.
