Unfortunately not, it's an overlay I made for my videos to make the replays feel more like GT Sport, but if someone is able to make this into a mod then please do :)

This tries to overwrite the whole ACU track which I'm a little reluctant to do - do you know for sure that it's an improvement (eg the 'new buildings' might look awful)?

Edit: just be aware, their billboards are an abomination and aren't done as a selectable skin, so you'll lose the originals. If you do swap tracks, keep the original billboards by creating a skin from the original updated ACU track and transfer it over to this one. Man, you have to so careful when replacing cars or tracks...

Reminds me of that guy who put Freddie Mercury posters all over his tracks and even built a stage for Queen to perform on, presumably with Freddie floating around in spectral form.

Is there a way to turn the auto-updates off for mods ? It's a very cool idea but the execution is... Lacking. If i wanna keep ma UI / Preview infos I can't even start the install cause the 'accept' prompt just ****s off out of view (and touch, can't even scroll down that menu).

I just went through the same thing. They must of pushed the notifications or something. I had the same problem but was able to get everything updated. Keep the screen you're at. Download like 4 updates at once. See the highlighted AC_BT60Y, push the down arrow and it will "close" the box you're on bringing up the install button for that item while opening the item below. Now you might not be able to select all the options in the drop down menus because it goes off screen but you go through the updates. Once you get through a couple and the list goes down it gets better and easier.
I completely agree that there is an issue here and needs to be reworked with a slider on the side to go up and down the list.

And some of us have facebook accounts and would like to know if there's things we missed on there if we don't spend every waking moment on social media. What's the problem? Why so angry there hair trigger?

hi mates! it is possible to have alternative links for the new tracks from RD?( like RA or cathedral R) since the host does not allow downlads whit a download manager (mipony, jdownloader etc) i cant download big archives from there because always have error! (due to quarentine i am at home and my internet conexion is very poor). thanks in advance!

I love this mod even though I haven't even driven it yet. I spent a few hours last night making a TP themed skin for this but need to finish up some little details. Lets just say it's Charmin ;)

So I got this model and i didn't really like the feel of the car.
I love the Alfa 155 famous for the BTCC in 1994..iconic is an understatement.
I have based this purely on feel, so no point looking into it and saying the left wing nut is out of sync by 2mm....

I just personally wanted a similar looking BTCC 1994 alfa... the front splitter is wrong, the rear spoiler is wrong to the actual car...
But it is what we got.

To me it feels pretty good, you may have reduce FFB in the car.ini multi or increase it whatever, i use 100 in control panel on TX so if you use 75 then this will seem too light.

So yeah. If anyone wants to give it a blast, improve it, tell me where it feels whack, or just rip it to pieces. Happy for whatever comes my way, its free, easy to download and easier to bin it.

Hey guys, rounding off my list from the other day is the v1.1 update for the Donkervoort D8 GT4.

New in this version are some alterations to the liveries and the changing of the suspension springs from lime green to black. There were some other changes in the works but some evil error messages have prevented them from being included at this time. Thanks @MrB00 for the livery tweaks.

To install, just drop it into the "cars" folder and if prompted, replace all files in the destination (assuming you haven't messed around with the old version at all, in that case a fresh install is recommended).

Top job! That 'Asseto Corsa' numberplate from the original GTO is a crime against humanity though, so I did a quick GT4 one and corrected the proportions.

Unfortunately when applied to the car it gets stretched vertically by a factor of two due to how the plate is UV mapped on the model. If anyone fancies quickly sorting that (with MisterWaffles's permission, of course) then that would be spiffing.
Maybe this plate (or something like it) could be applied to all of the recent GT4 mods?

If your plates don't match the original dimensions then they will look stretched as the plate looks like this (as you noticed when you made your one)
Are my livery plates not on this version? (I haven't updated mine as it's got all the included updates already)

I can take a look at doing those GT4 plates if you prefer those.

Sorry for inconveniences but thx for @Fanapryde his feedback an update for Mantorp Park config ini is needed:
  • fixed a weird graphical grass glitch where it disappeared on a special corner :scared:
  • grass now shorter and mowed every thursday... ;)
  • less grim looking trees :D

None of the plates like the one in your image showed up when I tested the car, they were all that stretched 'Assetto Corsa' one. I guess a GT4 plate might be better than sponsor logos? Up to you mate, they're your skins.

To be honest I did try to make a GT4 plate but it looked a bit naff so I just did those livery ones as placeholders till something better came along. I'm gonna try and make something similar to yours but I don't know how to change the size on the model so will see what they look like.
@MisterWaffles Must have left those livery plates out of the upload.
Once I finish this skin for the Formula Covid I'll make a GT4 plate :cheers:

There were some duplicate gloves and driver suits in the skin folders but no number plates that I saw, but a better way is to update the plate DDS on the model so that it appears on all of the cars without having to put it in every skin folder. You can do this in CM showroom. The current skin folders could do with a bit of tidying up to get rid of the redundant gloves and suits - some of them can be quite large.

Not sure about the duplicate gloves and suits as I didn't add those but I just looked in the latest file version and there seems to be 2 different styles in each skin folder. And I don't see my plates added so MisterWaffles must have left those out.
How does updating the DDS work..Does that apply to the whole car or per skin?

Not at my rig but from memory I think it's txDiffuse. Select the plate then act as if you are going to adjust the shaders - the option for txDifuse is below. You can export the DDS, edited it, then import it again.
It applies to the car so carries over no matter what skin is selected.
On the Donker the plate is a txDiffuse DDS so applies to all cars. I guess just substituting a transparent DDS would effectively remove the plate (or maybe just deleting the DDS - not sure).
