This I feel a bit better about sharing. I knew there was something off about that first one. I couldn't get that lift to go away for the life of me.

Reworked Kart 125cc ax30 - (won't overwrite the original)
I wouldn't expect it to drive like a real kart if you peeked at the suspension picture I put a couple posts up but it is usable now.
Things that could still be done:
-usable setup with values to reduce or add understeer.
-drivers hands kind of leave the wheel on turns
-somehow figure out how to get the drugged up AI to actually drive these things

Of course the power goes out for two seconds when I'm uploading that.
The download should be 95 megs and if you downloaded the earlier version. I made one small change to the steering to keep the hands on the wheel the best I could and I deleted an unnecessary soundbank that I forgot in the original post when making the new folder.

Typical lol. I wondered why it was cocking it's leg again and felt like you'd gone back 2 steps - but no worries, these things happen. Thanks again and at last we have a decent kart mod :cheers:

This are the Mario Kart tracks for AC I am aware of (most of them can be downloaded via Youtube videos):

I think a bunch of them are also on one of the drifter sites. Beware that quite a few are very rough conversions & in a kart will tend to have you going all over the place...

The russian KS-76 kart is worth a look ( somewhere on RD ), still suffers from the issues AC karts do, but it was the only one I tried that got us over the bridge on Royal Raceway at least! ( yes we had a league Mario Kart race... ).
 
guys with triple screen and RainFX. does your wiper also only show on the left most screen, am I missing a setting soemwhere, or just a current rainfx bug and we all wait patiently for ilja/ilya/x4fab to address it?

In other news, how great would the fat alphie tracks be once rainfx enabled for puddles etc. Lets keep fingers crossed!


It is a known bug with the current rainFX preview - you find it discussed a few times on the Patreon comment section.

A big thanks to The7thSense for improving this mod this is HIS changelog:
- Corrected ambient shadows.
- Redone some shaders.
- Working mirrors.
- Changed brake discs.
- Glowing brake discs.
- Changed brake calipers.
- Added lights to speedo-needles.

Here is my changelog i combined his update with mine:
-Fixed the upper window not displaying any sort of splashes when raining
-Reworked 3D Carbon textures on the OUTSIDE! please give me feedback on how they look.
-Resized the rear wheels not sure if they look different ingame but they look fine in CM
if somebody knows that the rear wheels in game are not the same to the ones in CM
please inform me or if somebody could fix it go ahead just please PM me that you will update it...
-Gear shifter now works note i couldn't sync it up with the hand shifting animation since i done
it after the hand shifting animation...

thank you for this mod . I think there is a problem . The car has trouble driving straight when the hypercar trofeo tires are selected.
 
Some cars (like the Kunos cars and the ones from AC Cars Reworked) have plates that you can customize in CM Showroom and some don't (like A3DR's and many others). What makes a car's plates customizable? I thought it was just the material and texture names, but some cars with noncustomizable plates have the same names as customizeable ones.

In our reworks, we just put a specific texture names to make CM customization works.

tnx and i already have found those,.. but i had a simular package with the bmw in it with same bop,.. that the one im after,..

hope you can help me finding that package including with the bmw.

or maybe you know where to find the loose bmw,... cause the dtm is no dtm without the bmw imo ;)

Kart is tonnes better now, actually fun to drive now.

Amazing how it lifts the rear wheel in the corner which is what they do in real life. Helps it rotate.

Problem now is and it was in the kart originally from RD, is that because it has no suspension unlike a car, the wheels on the other side have nowhere to go but into the track.....i am not sure that is something that can be stopped...

You're not alone on this one. I have the same problem - assume Ilja will fix in a future update. Rain does look amazing though, even in this early state.
 
***** mod of the day #25 : the infamous Lancia 037 JGTC '94. Yes... It's real. Underpowered, not suited for track racing and way too old.
Did this for myself then thought 'if someone wants it...' and here it is in all its 'glory' :

Disclaimer : I'm not a modder so I slapped the Supra SGT physics and its wheels (couldn't find the proper rims). Makes for a nice grid filler, I guess.

That's a very interesting find indeed, never knew JGTC run a rally car after a Countach...lol
