You can replace the sound from one to the other in less then 10 second in Content manager yourself.:sly:

Haha I just recently switched to using CM (the original AC launcher no longer runs due to the amount of mods I have ) so I'm still discovering all the tricks. Old habits die hard though and I'm still afraid of breaking things so prefer to keep things as is for now and just keep both packs.

Do you know if there's a way to revert back to original sound after you swapped it? Does CM make backup of the old sound files?

No, it does not, you need to do a back up yourself, in very rare occasion, if I feel like keeping the "original" sound, the way I do it is, I create a zip-file of the SFX folder, then I replace the sound.:sly:
also, you do have to replace by a Kunos sound, you can choose any car you would like. CM will even suggest cars with a similar max rev, to match max rev limiter.
You will not be able to live without it in no time, wondering why you did not adopt it earlier.

If you ever want to have access to the data folder when there is only a data.acd, to fix one of the zillion thing that need to be fixed with most mod, Alt/J, while in content/cars ( after choosing manage cars) will open it for you. then I usually create a data zip of the data.acd and delete it.

Don't you need to activate Developer Mode first (spam-click the CM version number, tick the tickbox etc)?

Edit: WTCR v1.3

I don’t think you need to activate developer mode for that function, but you might be right, since like you I am in developer mode, but it seems to me I was doing the Alt/j before. :P

Ah maybe that's a feature they need to implement in their next update. Auto backup any folder you made changes to (or at least have an option to create one) :D

I'm old skool so I like to keep anything game engine related stock. I'm comfortable adding cars and tracks but I haven't even touched the night shaders for example. Even if I'm using CM now I still manually unpack and copy paste every single mod I have

Changing car physics is too complex for me lol. I'll leave it to the people who actually understand engineering

The SEAT Cupra TCR '19 from this pack is a joy to drive, especially on Interlagos '75 in spec races against its buddies. I thought I already had a Cupra TCR but it turns out it was a Leon.

The TCR cars in their various guises are some of my all-time favourite mods: nice efficient models for good performance, stripped-out Works cockpits, meaty audio, tons of grip. Just good solid mods. I like them.

Now to try the rest. The Audi has knackered 3D mirrors, which is a shame. Anyone able to fix them?

This is trying to overwrite my existing car, so I'll have no way of comparing them and keeping the original if I want to..?
