Hi TonyBarracuda,
Do you plan to have a look at your subaru GT300. As I said in a previous post :

And there's also a strange effect on the right window depending of sun position. I can send you screeshot iof needed.
I'm not using any shader mod and everything is up to max in assetto corsa.
Please, can you send me screens with all issues in private message ? I would like to fix it, because now on my game i dont see them

Great. I've borked my Kunos Spa track by installing winter trees over the default ones due to non-existent installation instructions in a winter mod at RD.
Can someone do me a huge favour and upload the Spa default texture file so I can attempt to get the Kunos trees and textures back please?

@Masscot
If you mean the Autumn Mod 1.1, it's a JSME type of installation, so it's not destructive.
For example in my SPA "default" I don't have trees.
To be honest I thought I had installed the Autumn Mod 1.1, but I forgot, so now I can create the "\cm_skins\Autumn" folder and place the Autumn trees of that mod.

Backup Kunos Spa (the winter mod cm_skins is included):

Guys, I have a weird problem with the Shaders Lights Patch. I decided to try it and downloaded 0.1.24. I use the Rift, and I noticed that the track surface is darker in the right eye than in the left when using this patch. This makes everything look 'funky' and is very distracting. So I disabled the patch in CM to compare how it looked without it. But--I now can no longer run AC without the patch installed! Disabling and even deleting the patch completely doesn't help. I always get the dreaded "race cancelled" screen when trying to start AC thru content manager. I've tried only Kunos cars and tracks and it makes no difference. The game crashes every time. If I activate the patch--everything runs again, along with the mismatched brightness in the Rift. So does anybody know how to get the texture brightness in the left/right eyes of the Rift to balance out? Or, can anyone tell me how to remove the patch from my system in order to get AC to run without it?

@WVStarship
try downloading a newer version & always check the Discord sub-channel for updates: https://discord.gg/Cns7uX

v0.1.25-preview32 • Proper build this time, sorry I messed up the last one; • Weather FX fixed; • New GPU optimizations now should work; • Neck: option for base tilt; • Graphic adjustments: option for separate replays color grading. https://mega.nz/#!n45UxY7B!avE_vO238VQVAZBM1YFCsBj7UzUk7w0VEpwazgN-7jk

p.s.
Always disable and then delete the old build with CM, before installing the new version. It's the correct procedure.

EDIT:

I have this weird problem of reflexes in the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK DTM 2001, driving in the wet modded tracks. Basically, as you can see from the pics, the sun light reflects onto the upper side of the interior material of the roof and creates this yellow-ish effect:

The Audi ABT TT-R DTM instead, reflects the sun lights correctly.
Is there a way to fix the material? I understand the mod quality of the interior ain't great, but it's also a borderline case, this one.

Thanks for the backup. It was a new 'winter' mod for Spa on Race Department that didn't install via CM in the normal way, so I tried installing it manually by looking at the file structure, but something went very wrong.

Regarding Chivas' GT500 Pack, is that related in any way at all to this one I already have?

https://assettomods.wixsite.com/assettomods/single-post/GT-500-Pack

I see the NSX/GT-R/Lexus is the same but the skins are different. I know Chivas has done a Supra before as well. Are his mods a new version or just an update on this one?

Hi ! ;-)

This mod is not a part of Chiva's works.
It's not an update, It's not a previous version.

I'm not aware about the origin of the mod you show us but there is not a taste of "Chivas Art" in it.

Chivas stills working on his 2008 version of GT500 and He's far to the end but... the next update will come soon. ;-)

Cheers ! :)

However, he does have a Supra and a BNR34 from the JGTC. I have both, they're a thrill to drive and look like really professional work.
Can't wait for the NSX though.

Ah ah ah... I just downloaded it a couple of hours (I was searching a "big balls track" as Interlagos 1975 because I knew these sort of awesome but very dangerous tracks, Tilke deserves F1 circus except... Istanbul !) before... a huge crash of my PC !
What a frustration !!! ^^

No it really shouldn't by comparison to the actual car... You can use ctrl+T and ctrl+A to cycle the ABS and Traction Control off. It's my understanding that not everyone that plays Assetto Corsa is using a Steering Wheel and Pedals and this can make things pretty tricky for ones that don't have the level of variability that pedals offer. Good controllers have variable triggers for brakes and gas, though the distance of travel in the triggers tend to make that sweet spot of break and gas a very small one. So it's good to try to keep the level of enjoyment equal among users.

Maybe soon there will be some more updates for the car ;)

I tried out that GT2 mod and I find it totaly arcade in physics. Is just me? I dont think it can be considered simulation.

Hi Gentlemen drivers ! ;-)

Just take a look and enjoy this Formula Ford from the holy past of the art of driving. :)

I installed those autumn and winter mods for a bunch of tracks ages ago, but I did it a bit differently to how the mod author suggested (JSGME). What I did was use CM to create new skins for the tracks in question, and then when into the files for those tracks, and manually dropped the texture files in the new skin folders CM created. I named the skins appropriately, and now if I select, say Nords, in CM, I can then use the skins drop down menu to select between snow and winter, or not select a skin and I'll get vanilla Kunos Nords. Works the same for Spa. Imola, Mugello, etc. CM really is the best thing to have been made for AC, which is high praise given the huge amount of amazing mods this game has.

That car was made by la crème de la crème, this must be a treat to drive, looking forward to try it tomorrow.

Thanks for confirming that. Chivas' mod have better physics and 3D models, but sound is weak compared to the old mod so I'm keeping both for now.

Chivas, if you're reading this thread, maybe you could use the sound from the other mod in your next update? :D

You can replace the sound from one to the other in less then 10 second in Content manager yourself.:sly:

In instalation folder you must have folder default weather, you must activate it after you remove shadet light patch
