Hi friends. 'Won" has recently updated the Reverse layouts for the original Kunos-tracks on RD. This did include a fix for the messed up Laguna Seca track. Unfortunately the first installment has ruined my Laguna Seca files. Now the AI cars try to turn around after start on the normal layout.

Can somebody please post the 2 original files from the AI-dir (fast-lane + pit-lane)? I hope this will fix the problem. Thank you so much.

Hi @Masscot that is a screenshot from EK 9 he has not taken from my other car and put them on spoon, to do that animation must be redone. I've created inside 3ds max and I have my animation file. As soon as possible I'll try to take from the other car and put inside spoon adapting dimension and animation.

No leftover plastic part to better wiping normally it's mounted on hand driving side to clean better.

@flyingsaucer Thanks for clarifying this to others - i had no time yesterday to redo the wipers (even for internal testing yet) You saved me a post.

Regarding previous civic (ek2) wipers -
Okay, please don,t be at me :D - that part of a moving wiper was so distracting/obscuring the windscreen to me, that i removed it from the mod (just from my copy - no harm to others). Maybe it doesnt look so intrusive in real life, but in Assetto (csp 1.65_1) wipers in ek2 are wiping great even without that part.(it looked quite strange in Blender though - might be import issue or sth idk) [it's also not affecting not wiping condition in 1.67_1 so i need more time some day to investigate the issue]

@Masscot - thanks for words of encouragement (thumb up). i'd have loved to brilliantly share whole car with fixes in 5minutes of work, but there were more problems than just a opaque windscreen, that are more time consuming and yes, it looks i have to use a file hosting service (cringe :d)
I could have uploaded some fixes as a CSP extension patches (one by one) with just needed parts of a mesh fixed if only the filesize limit on gtp was not so low :d. ( I wanted to share wipers for Bmw m5 e60 mod earlier) I have also limited data plan from my mobile service (the internet data is quite expensive here) That's a lots of disasta' :D - thsnk god i can browse the forum yet :D

On top of that,(and that is what stopped me most), there is corruption of tyres and gauges when civic Spoon is imported in Blender), so in the end i had a thought that guys who are working on the mod on other software will have a bit smoother troubleshooting than me, just pointed them some issues and tips if they want to consider.

Cheers to all!

I'm not finding any file in the data folder that goes by that name.
assuming you have CSP installed...

1. create a new folder "extension" inside your car folder
2. create a new file in that folder, save as "ext_config.ini"
3. paste the contents into the ini:
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
ACTIVE=1
DESCRIPTION= shadowtest
MESHES = ??
MATERIALS = ??
CAST_SHADOWS = 1
LOD_OUT = 1500
DOUBLE_FACE_SHADOW_BIASED = 1

4.save file
5. test your car

This is not a fix, it will/should however pin down the culprit and narrow what you will need to do.

I've not caught up yet (40 pages to go - 2 months of Elite Dangerous), but if people have quickly glanced down that list, they may have missed the very understated Spa 1934, which includes ancienne doune hairpin instead of eau rouge, the chicane at malmedy, and the longer trip into the village of stavelot

Only tested the car now.

Undoubtedly one of the best mods!
Everything works and works well. Doesn't work just because, it really work well.

Pure fun to drive. Very easy to catch the rear when pushing hard. Brilliant mod!
The same modder is working on an M4 cabrio with lots of animated extras and tiny details. Even the pedals move, and the gearstick actually selects the appropriate gear (and not just back/forth like most animations).

Just stated before mate nothing is plug and play me too need to use at least 3 softwares. I'm noob at this kind of modding but it's simple because it is happening and it will happens if kseditor or something else like 3dsimed3 do not fully support FBX format.
Kseditor as just told here wants fbx 2014/2015 (it has alots of bugs)
3dsimed3 produce fbx2017 format (bugs corrected but introduce other ones)
3ds max and blender are wonderful and powerful (BEST OF THE BEST BUT.....)

As just noted discussed and analyzed we must intend kseditor as a another 3d software id est it can give parameters and settings that only it can give in a full way for assetto corsa (infact it produce .kn5 format....) it can import .fbx but cannot export.....maybe FBX cannot support extra datas for materials and objects that's why during conversion something is lost.

Others tools can do a lots but not everything that's why are needed all 2/3 software togheter. Believe me I've produced alots of file for each one. Exporting, importing modifying. This is why I've a lots of respect for all MODDERS out there. FBX is a graphic 3d format but it's a lots near a programming format.

Now they are also on SPOON!!!
Yup, i can remember those wipers very well:)
Of the things i wanted to change (or maybe do a CSP mod) , was also to get rid of those big licence plates (to improve airflow ;) ) but there are big black areas after removing the plates from the model because the original AO textures were made with plates on :/
Quickly creating AO textures from CM Showroom yesterday, was giving me a not good look (lost most of details of the front grille etc). Anyone knows a good setting for generating AO in CM?

EDIT:
@flyingsaucer - no worry mate, i do understand you quite well :) - i'm quite in the same boat as you :D
In Blender you can essentially feel the cogs and springs of the math :D screeching behind the representation of a 3D model :D

I don't what to upset you but that is the previous generation Bentley we are waiting for guys at TopRace/BKStudio how did the pervious ACC Conversion to finish the current Generation Bentley.

Hey guys, i lately notice a "glitch-problem-whatever" with AC (it happens even with CSP uninstalled, didn't tried with the normal ACS.exe game so i don't know if it's a problem of CM).

- I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling CSP
- I already deleted the settings folder of CM and reinstalled CM in order to see if the problem go away but no luck

Basically during live playing (by whatching the tv cameras while the AI is driving and also in replays) there's a sort of FRAME GLITCH.

frame 0 is the precedent one (during the change of the camera from precedent one to the next one), frame 1 il the first one when the game jump to the next camera of the replay, frame 2 is the, basically next one of the 1.

Anyone ever had this issue? Is barely noticeable sometimes, but is really annoying...
I edited the frame in photoshop because by eye is really hard to notice (but you can see something strange very quickly when happens)

He needs to read my posts!
Not surprised he hasn't though. They're buried among more than 55,000 others.

Seriously, your reviews is an excellent project with the potential to save people some time, the purpose of which is somewhat defeated by the decision to hide them here rather than just giving it its own separate thread to start with.

I'm not finding any file in the data folder that goes by that name.

Deleted as rmi_wood has got your back on this one.

But yeah have a look at other cars that use extension folders and ext_config files. It's a good thing to learn if you use CSP.

Hallo!
I need your help? How can I check if the cars have LOD´s?
Or has someone Infos about the ACC converted cars ?
Thx Kocinski

Check the car folder and the LOD kn5s will be obvious if they are there.
Or open the car in CM showroom, pick the little car icon on the right of the menu, and cycle through the LODs there.
